That's one of the last songs I ever sang for my parents , when I was visiting their church. My dad was not a demonstrative person, but he gave me a side hug later on that day. Sweet memory🤗💜🙏
I'm a middle-aged missionary in Asia and I so vividly remember riding around in the car with my mom growing up listening to her belt out Sandi Patty and Larnelle Harris songs and feeling like it was a little slice of Heaven.
I can totally relate to what Natalie Grant is saying because I met Sandi Patti thru song lol when I was 12. The Lord moved and spoke in my life like I’ve never known. Every song, every melody Sandi sang and wrote spoke into my life. I love her and I’m full of love and admiration and gratitude for the way the Lord used her to speak into my life. It wasn’t until I met Sandi thru her music that I realized the Lord blessed me with being able to sing operatic. Oh how I pray to be taught and condition my vocals the way Sandi has for the glory of God. I Thank the Lord for u Sandi. And I thank u Lord songs that move us to tears.
1- when Sandi plays piano....that’s my favorite Sandi. 2- these powerhouses just sang that with very little practice and it was amazing. I love them both! Not sure how anyone could put a thumbs down on this! Wooooo
My husband and I just had the opportunity to see Sandi in San Diego, CA for her Forever Grateful tour and what a blessing. She spoke highly of Natalie in the meet-and-greet and you can just feel their chemistry between them. Thank God for such anointed voices :).
I love seeing artists singing great message and truth songs into their elder years, it gives proof they are not interested in "chart topping singles" but more about keeping those truths alive with them and displaying to the world that this is what they truly believe and cling to, thanks so much for this performance and the blessing of knowing it still rings true as time passes
My first ever concert was Sandi Patty in The City Hall in Brisbane Australia in the early 80’s. My second concert I had won tickets to see Amy Grant in about 86 I had my eldest daughter she was a few weeks old. Then my third concert was Amy Grant and I was pregnant with my second eldest in 87.
i had the honor of singing this beautiful song at church before. it's always been one of my favorite Sandi Patty songs, along with We Shall Behold Him. the incomparable Sandi Patty :)
