Oscar-winning actress Natalie Portman visits TODAY to talk about her new movie “Jackie,” in which she portrays first lady Jacqueline Kennedy both in the White House and after John F. Kennedy’s 1963 assassination. She tells Matt Lauer: "I was terrified because everyone knows what she looks like, particularly, and what she sounded like." She also talks about her pregnancy.

Saw this movie today! It was exceptional! It depicted the events exactly as they occured, and exhibited all the sophistication, elegance, gracefulness and strength of Jacqueline Kennedy. The musical score was powerful and chilling. Albeit this movie is not for everyone it really did take me back to the days of Camelot. I'm sure there will be an Oscar for this! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

She did a really spot on impression of Jackie Kennedy. Like really, it was incredible. She nailed not just her accent, but her particular way of speaking. Even her posture was spot on. Great performance.

That's what didn't strike me until this movie. I always saw them as historical figures. Something so awful happening to a woman's husband, right in front of her eyes, him dying in her lap with his blood and brains all over her. So traumatic and sad.

Natalie was always first choice in the mini series but due to her film acting career she could not do it. There was no way the TV production could have landed Portman but I'm happy she was able to do the film on Mrs. Kennedy. Only Natalie Portman could have given us a true picture of Jackie.
