From what I’ve read and heard they cut out so so much from the film. Like they cut out Jane’s very first transformation into the mighty Thor and that was so f***ing stupid that they removed it.

Hi. Swedish person here. I might be able to clear this up. First of all, Vikings traveled. They famously got on boats and went viking, that's kind of what Viking means. As they traveled, they would occasionally lose crewmates. Either to death or just "I like this place and these people, I'm gonna settle down", and inversely, the Vikings would also sometimes recruit people where they went, as needed, and some of them would come back to Scandinavia and settle down. There was no paperwork involved in immigration, and racism as we know it hadn't really been invented yet (which is not to say xenophobia didn't exist, but it was structured around different ideas). In fact, the idea of "white people" as some kind of quasi-ethnic group didn't come about until the 1700s. While most Vikings were what would now be recognized as white, there were certainly exceptions. Secondly, Asgardians aren't from here. They're not even human. They live in Asgard, a place that is not on this planet, and in fact doesn't exist. There's no reason to expect them to look any particular way.

@@Swenglishhi, I'm an Asian guy. truth is I know about this Norse mythology and doesn't exist in real life, I even know the origins of vikings. They came from Denmark Sweden and Norway etc. I know they like to travel and raid as I watched this history channel Vikings, I love the series and I don't know if it's accurate based on real life as you said. Look The point is that why putting blacks and asian among the people of Asgard. I'm not being racist, it's just that it feels not right. Asgardians are should be white based on your history, culture and Myths. I'm asian and I have great respect for your mythology. I hope you understand.
