Very helpful review. Natasha didn't lie; this palette is very "nude." Under certain lighting, it can be either very sparkly or naturally nude. The palette looks more warm on some, and cool on others. It's indeed a very "confusing" palette. :)
I usually like more colorful looks, but I keep reaching for this palette cause it's so beautiful. The sparkle in real life is just stunning. Definitely the perfect bridal palette! You're right though, not a lot of variety. For me it provides something new and different since I have so many colorful palettes.
This is such a great point-if you mostly have colorful palettes, this can beautifully fill the need for more neutral shadows. Yes to sparkle ✨it’s stunning in person! Just gorgeous.
I love the mini retro and was out of galaxia, so I bought mini Starlette! I really love Starlette! I skipped on the new I need a nude- I’m wanting to get something more simple like the newest Patrick Ta matte palette. ❤️
Thank you for sharing your thoughts! 🥰 It makes perfect sense to pick up Starlet instead of INAN. Galaxia is a must-have. The Patrick Ta palette is super pretty! 😍
Thanks for this video. I watched countless reviews of this palette but found yours probably the most useful. I love your detailed colour descriptions with notes undertone. Also, as much as I appreciate elaborate makeup looks some people do, I find your everyday makeup demonstrations more relatable and helpful.
Yes I bought the 15 pan I need a nude…I am silver grey haired as well and I found your analysis spot on…lovely but can get a bit repetitive but still a beautiful palette and worth the money 🙋♀️🇬🇧
Love the review and your perspective on this pallette. I've been on the fence about buying it since I don't wear makeup every day. Probably purchasing a mini of I Need A Nude if/when it becomes available would be good for me. Speaking of fall and variety, I just purchased Anastsia of Beverly Hills Fall Romance. Sooo pretty!
Thanks for the kind comment! I’ve been curious about the Fall Romance palette-I feel as though ABH has be consistently releasing super interesting color stories. I’m glad to hear you’re enjoying it!
Beautiful eyeshadows and they look great on you 👩🏻🦳🌸 I did purchase the Retro one which I really enjoy. You look gorgeous as always and hope you have a great week 💖
I bought it and I love it but I find it a little too cool. I usually add a touch of bronzer to my lid and I’m fine. It’s a little boring but it’s super useful and reliable. I have a number of similar colours in other palettes and within my singles collection. I probably didn’t need a nude but I have no regrets. I am so happy you’re finding joy and convenience with this palette. It looks gorgeous on you.
Bronzer is a great idea. I can see how this could be too cool-especially the mauve tones. These mattes really make themselves known-they are not neutral. Thank you for the kind words 🥰😘
That’s so interesting, Michelle! Some others have commented that it’s too cool. I find it to be very peachy-not at all what I expected. But, as you say, it’s still pretty. 🤩
Hello darling Beth! I did purchase The I Need a Nude Palette. The colors are brilliant. Unfortunately, I had tons of fallout from the glitter shadows. I bought a glitter primer, hoping it would help. Unfortunately, it didn't. I had fallout not only on my cheeks, but in my eyes. I gave up after a few days of irritated eyes, so Unfortunately, I had to return it. Still, I think it was lovely, just way too irritating for my sensitive eyes. The colors look beautiful on you. Especially with your coloring. The Starlit palette is gorgeous as well. I may take a chance, and grab it. Thank you for demonstrating the palette. Have a fabulous Sunday. 🩷💓😘
Rene, thank you for sharing your experience! 🥰😘 If your eyes are sensitive, glitter fall-out is a deal killer for sure. The colors really are nice-and pretty different from anything we have seen lately from ND. I hope you’re having a lovely start to fall 🍁 !
Hi Beth. Thank you for doing this review. I believe I have a better understanding of the ND INAN palette now that I've heard your description of the undertones of each shadow color. I have the ND Glam Palette, as well as a nice collection of Viseart matte shadows and tons of individual neutral indie shimmer shadows. So I wasn't sure I needed this palette (pun intended😄). I think if the right sale comes along in a year or two, I might ask for this palette as a birthday gift or something like that. But for now, your video saved me a bit of money. Have a great night. 🦋🧡🦋
I’m more than happy to share this information-especially if it helps you save a little money. These are little luxuries, and most of us won’t use them to their fullest potential. I’ve been wanting to try the Viseart formula. 🥰😘🥰😘
Beth...Hope you have great weekend. Continuing thanks for your grey hair advice. As a guy, I really appreciate comments from women on how much they like my grey hair. Mine is now longer than some of theirs and they ask how I'm doing it. I appreciate you as my secret advisor 😁 🤣 . Luv ya Beth❤
Speaking of hard to describe, I only have one ND palette called Love. At first I thought it wouldnt ever be anything I would reach for. Strangely enough, I find that a few shades are very pretty, very unusual and create the icing on the cake after I have used other shadows. Great quality and the colors stay all day. So- for me I dont use it as a palette at all. I use the different shades as singles and they are lovely!
How interesting! I was curious about the love palette-it was so focused on a specific theme. I do love that ND palettes allow for the exploration of singles-that is how I use the Biba palette. 🥰😘🥰😘
I just got my hands on this palette after watching many tutorials. Unfortunately almost all matte shades lean warm peachy on my naturally reddish eyelids. I'm neutral/cool and find many eyeshadow going on warm even when they are looking cool in the pan. The only eyeshadow that truly is cool on me is Viseart Lilas, but I was looking for more variety and lighter shades. I don't know what to do with this palette...
That’s very interesting-I also think this is warmer than other reviewers let on. How are the non-matte formulas working for you? I find Natasha Denona’s palettes trend warm. I can barely use the My Dream.
I never, ever use all the shades in a palette, even the smaller ones. I select the shadows based on what looks right with my skin tone and what expresses my particular style. Most palettes have too many really dark or intense for my taste, so I look for something with softer tones that work for me. I don’t think I will get that bigger palette. I’ve got a few beautiful ND palettes already and feel satisfied with the quality and the options they give me.
Have you tried the brand Alter Ego? I've found the quality very good. Have any of us actually finished a pallette? I have a hard time selling out $60+ when Alter Ego works so well for me at a fraction of the cost.
I totally get it. I’ve never finished a palette-and I really do use them. I’ve never tried Alter Ego, but I have watched reviews. The reviews are almost always positive-I’m curious.
