I think this is going to be the perfect companion palette for the Pat McGrath Mega Mothership holiday palette. ND’s mattes with PM’s shimmers will be perfection 😘
I just bought this palette (yes, in 2022) because I can pop these pans out and make unique colour stories with the other large-pan palettes - my favorite thing about Natasha Denona!
Honestly I kinda want this palette for the mattes... Duochromes in general don’t really excite me anyways but I am obsessed with ND’s matte formula. By the way, I am also loving the Mario eye primer set as well!! :)
Hi Patty. I think those are still multichromes not duochromes albeit slightly timid. When I swatch Scarab I can clearly see the shift from green to gold to blueish turquoise and the shade Color Flip has the same shift as Pat Mcgraths shade. Evev Kinetic has a blue/purple/pink/gold shift but that one is very hard to see.
Your eye looks with this palette are gorgeous, Patty! You may prefer neutral colors, but I have to say these colors really bring out your beautiful blue eyes! I love all three looks, even the green! That purple look is my favorite though! I one hundred percent agree that she should’ve made this in her $65 smaller palette, though I can understand why she made it larger. I love the packaging, and it’s obvious she put a lot of thought into creating this palette. But I can’t see paying so much money for it. I have been wanting to purchase her glam palette, as I can see myself getting more use out of it. Also, don’t the colors in this palette read more spring?

While I think the color story is interesting I just don’t think I’d get enough use out of it. Also, I agree, I thought we’d had an understanding with ND too! 😂 If the price had been $65 I might’ve been more inclined to consider it but I’m not going to spend $100+ for a palette I can’t see myself using very often. Nope. That said, I think you did some beautiful I looks with it...which I was curious to see so thank you. I think #3 is my favorite. 🙂
I actually loved the green look on you ! But I understand it’s not your preference of eye shadow colors ,,, whether a palette is “worth” it is very subjective ,,,, we were def getting spoiled with ND releasing her midi sized palettes ,,,, I ordered it right away from Sephora and used my 20% off which is nice ,,, this is def a different offering from her which I appreciate & im def a neutral girl but I’ve learned to love & appreciate color too ! Also I like she included so many mattes in this one ,,, as many seemed to complained she had too many shimmers & metallics in her palettes ,, alas you can’t please everyone lol I’m excited to play with this palette and recreate your looks ,,, I loved them all including the green look xoxo
I loved all the looks you did. Greens are my favorite colors for the eyes, so that was my favorite look. I only own one of ND midi palette, the Glam palette. I have many of her mini palettes. I’m on the fence on this. I’m not getting anything from Pat McGrath this year. I may get something from Charlotte Tilbury or Hourglass.💚💜💚
I think they are multichromes. If you can see three or more shades, it’s a multichrome. They are more subtle than some indie brands. If you want dramatic multichromes try indie brands. I think the shades are gorgeous though.
These looks are all gorgeous! I actually think the green one is my fav - it looks so good on you! If this was one of the smaller palettes I might consider getting it bc it’s so different, but since I’m a neutrals girl I can’t see myself shelling out the money for this one (this size is $170 in Canada!).
I totally get what you mean with the name of the palette, i was also a bit confused when i heard it is called triochrome because it has 3 duochromes 😂 I also thought they would be multichromes!
Got this palette I love it the colors are so unique I don’t have anything like them not all of them are unique but enough of them are for me to justify the price unlike Charlotte tilbury she always releases the same pillow talk she’s never gone outside of the box I do like her larger palettes but don’t think her price justifies the quality like this one from Natasha Denona you did some beautiful looks I’m sure you knew this palette was colorful when you bought it! The green looked good on you!😊❤️
I love Natasha Denona mattes and I don’t mind the more subtle duochromes. They are more wearable. I ordered some Clionadh multichromes, which are finally on there way, after months. I can pair those with some of these mattes. Also, they would be great with the PM Celestial pallet. Your looks were 💣, as usual!! The green looks great on you, makes your eyes look more green. I liked it the best!! By the way, LOVE the new CT mascara once it was explained to pack it on with the flat, then separate the lashes with the teethy side.
I do wish it was a $65 palette also, however I snagged it on sale because I saw your review and a few others and thought it was beautiful even tho not a daily look. As for green eyeshadows, I can only wear them if it’s like khacki, a really bright lime green, or a cool toned green. Grungy greens like a chartreuse I find really hard to wear...beautbean here on RU-vid does them really well though!
What brush did you use when applying the color Vortex, I don’t think you mentioned the brush you were using, and I wrote everything done so when I apply the look, I can follow along with my directions from copying what you said. I know, I need to get a life, I have much too much time on my hands to write all the directions down, but I’m 56 1/2, and my kids are grown, so it’s just me. I’m with you, I play it safe when it comes to eyeshadow colors, but that look 2 you created seemed pretty wearable. I don’t like the two yellowish shades you pointed out ( two clownish). Like when when will I really wear those? I’m still thinking about if I want to bite the bullet and buy it? I think I need to see it in person to decide?
Middle and bottom row, yes, don’t like top row. Saw it earlier on cult beauty or lookfantasic and saw price. Straight away the price put me off. As a whole palette, it looks very Norvina with added duo chrome colours. Purple look is stunning, I’m just not enamoured of the colour choices in the palette at all. If it was the smaller palette, might be worth it for some of the more unique shades. X
i did get this palete for a disount i love ie it i would of never of paid fulll price for it thow at 129 i would of been really upstwith the shades not being trio chrome

I personally feel that I see a lot of duo chrome shadows in the purple Baloo lavender shift kind of vibe or the green brown by or the brown blue vibe. It’s been done. I was hoping that she come out with something way different. Maybe the green one is the most different tres or duo chrome. Thinking back, I can go back Over 2 to some BH Cosmetics, and a Makeupshayla Colourpop pallet that had some dual chrome’s in them. Love your Eye look .keep up your great work. i love your reviews but i can‘t get a palette this expensive for colors i will not use daily. i still think it looks great tho and i love your looks! just something i wanted to add - the palettes chromes are actually meant to be triochromes, so they are supposed to shift in 3 different colors each. i read it in an instagram post of natasha denona where she shows finger swatches! but i also already heard multiple people say they actually only see mostly a duochrome effect. but i can definitely see a better triochrome effect on the pink one to me it looked like pink (slightly purple as u said), brown and green. ❤️
I've seen beautiful looks with those greens and they also look beautiful with my skin tone and brown eyes. It's not very nice to say people look "crazy" because they are colors you personally don't like or don't wear. Variety is the spice of life
Hi, thanks for nice video! I have one BIG problem with this palette - I am green wearer and lover, but I do not see much of a green in there. There is so called khaki, that looks whatever in between grey and brown. but not really green. Than there are two yellowy ocres in the upper row and muted orange or mustard in the bottom row. I do not see green in them, maybe it is because of the camera´s of all youtubers... And except of it there is only the duochrome, which shifts more antique gold than green - well, this is the only green in the palette, I think. I like ocres, but the combination of the colors in the upper row is just too much of a yellow. Or maybe the substitution of the orange in the bottom row for some nice fall green would make it for me? And I agree with all you sayed about the size and pricing. If it is mini size and having one nice fall green, it would tempt me. But somehow these kind of are my colors and at the same time they are not.
I'm not interested in this palette at all. It doesn't inspire me. I hear your comments regarding the price of the palette, but I have to say, Charlotte Tilbury is ridiculously expensive. If CT was to make this palette (weight for weight) it would cost a jaw dropping *$262.50* to purchase!!! I agree, it would have been so much better had Natasha produced this in the smaller $65 palette. These huge palettes are a complete waste of my money, I know I'm never going to hit pan on any of the shadows.
i dont know if its the palette or the colors in the palette, but this is not your best work. i admire you and always look forward to your looks, this one left me not liking this palette. i ordered it last week, now i am wondering if i wasted my money. are you having an off day on creativity? asking with all due respect
😂 I meannnnnn idkkk I just couldn’t get any color combos that were impressive. I feel the same. (I’m blaming it on the palette) 😂 that’s why I was saying I see myself reaching for specific shades rather than using the palette exclusively for future looks.

I love a colorful palette and I love Natasha denona this formula but I can't purchase this not for $129 the colors just don't speak to me and I feel like there should have been at least six Duo Chrome's in the palette if it was $65 I would have got it anyway because I love her formula and it's hard to find a pigmented pastel color but as I said before for that price and no ma'am
