Yes!! I couldn't agree more about the color theory aspect of it! I can see how some would enjoy this palette and some would hate it. As far as I know the opinions divided on Yucca palette too. I'm actually a contrast winter too.😁 I noticed that saturated cool tones make my looks very expressive, I love the result but I also feel like it's not really going well with the minimalist clean girl look trend and I'm somewhat intimidated by high contrast makeup (on myself).😁 But based just on the color theory, this is a palette for us contrast winters 100%.🙌 Thank you for watching!💗

I myself usually do more colourful looks for instagram but on daily basis I can't be bothered to do my eye makeup in the morning so I go out either barefaced or put all the focus on bright red lipstick which alone is enough contrast to make me look alive 😆 I am though drawn to the textures of NDs formula, like the satinish darker tones like that night sky or ebb shade and the bright white shimmers which I don't usually find in other palettes and it sure is much more fun than boring black poor performing matte shades but that alone is not enough to buy this expensive palette as I know I would not use it very often (um like half of the palettes in my collection that I touched once 🙈🤣 peek ADHD impulsive makeup shopper😆) So far I am resisting, but if it survives for some discounts I can't promised I won't get it 😄

I see why there is an opinion like that out there, I've been testing it lately and I disagree. Sure, it looks like a great night time palette, but it was so easy to put together cool toned and neutral daytime looks too! They turn out to be kind of dove grey (I'll post a video of one of them soon) and I thought I'd need to go through a lot of palettes to recreate such a look. It was interesting. This palette is for those who enjoy monochrome and cool toned looks for sure, and it's not everyone's cup if tea. What do you think about it?

Hi, it might be an issue if you have a warm skintone, I saw many videos on this and most of the people trying this had neutral or warm undertone which for these extremely cool shades is not a good pairing. But if your undertone is cool , you should not have issues with this palette. the blue tones are even more tricky since when they are overblended on warm skin, it looks horendeus :D

@@magicxspace5406 Thank you! I appreciate it but any skin tone will work. You just have to know what you’re doing. Also, what you see on camera is not what is in real life. I know all of this because I am a professionally taught make up artist. 😊 Regardless, this palette could be a miss period. Natasha is known for misses. And sadly, it is an online order only.

@@magicxspace5406 The problem with the blue tone is that when you put it with the other darker tones they will all pull blue. That’s the problem. It won’t matter your skin tone. It will do that for everyone. If anything, the blue shadow should be an accent color, apply a small at the end, or by itself with lighter colors not with other dark colors.

@@thelostchicagogirl you are definitely right, anyone can make it work of course, it's just it will always be a little bit easier for people with cooler undertone, the same as it is more difficult for me with any orange leaning eyeshadows, I'm not a professional MUA, only an amateur but I am a certified colour analyst, so the fact that it will just look better on a certain skintone is a simple colour theory, but that does not mean people can only wear certain shades, I also use lot of colours that are not suitable for me, it's just about how you work with it and if you are the one who likes it in the end 💜I would love for people to be more openminded about colours in general, I see lot of times people saying bad things about makeup products just because it didn't work for them but that doesn't always mean that the products are always bad, nothing is perfect for everyone but if you know what you're doing, like you said, you can make lot of things works for you. I'm still not sure if I want to get it, I keep changing my mind :D

@@magicxspace5406 The problem with “influencers” is that they will put a product that is meant for oily skin on their dry skin and then say how horrible it is etc. The reality is that product isn’t meant for you and isn’t going to work on your skin, so you are doing EVERYONE a disservice. And you’re right certain colors look better on certain skin tones. However, there are other products that can be used (blush and lipstick, for example) that will help the eyeshadows work better. But if you put a blue toned color with a shimmery black, you will always get a blue look 😂😉
