They should make a movie called the red room introducing Natasha and Yelena in the red room and their most important missions. Then how Natasha escapes and the whole drekov thing in Budapest and then how he survived and how he implanted the chemical manipulation into all the widows! That would be a perfect prequel.

The only thing I think bears mentioning regarding the physiology of her injury. She wouldn’t need to necessarily shatter her skull to rupture the olfactory nerve. But she would almost definitely get a concussion. The coup contrecoup action of a traumatic brain injury can cause the olfactory nerves to snap over top of the cribiform plate.
@@MilkT0ast Conscious? Possibly. I’ve seen some nasty hits to the head where the effects aren’t immediate. Still able to fight? Highly doubtful. Unless she’s fighting completely on autopilot, but even then her coordination would be severely affected by the TBI.
