Maybe Jeremiah feared this very type outcome. The tone of your comment. Maybe he feared similar rants. Like discrimination in general, sometimes folks feel they have to try to exist as someone or something else just to be kinda accepted. And who says, just bc two people did not see each other for two years that they did not not experience love at first sight? Love is an internal emotion. You carry that emotion with you internally everywhere you go. So, externally, they were not in the same spot...geographically. So what. That’s not unique. That doesn’t mean they didn’t have a love connection when they first met. I’m severely heterosexual, and admittedly there was a time when a same-sex relationship was not at all something I agreed with, particularly on a spiritual or religious level. But in the end, God will be the ultimate judge of us all. I don’t have to agree with their relationship. Love is love. Nate and Jeremiah found each other, they’re in love with each other, they are so committed to each other that they married each other and are now raising kids together. That’s more than can be said in some so-called “normal” relationships. And does it realllly matter who fathered their kids? They could have been adopted, though I understand one or the other, Nate and Jeremiah, actually donated their sperm. I understand so many gays try to hide their sexuality bc just like in society with respect to racism, they experience discrimination. Nate and Jeremiah are both successful and talented men in their own right who are, like other good, decent, hard-working folks, trying to make a good life for themselves. Whether they actually fell in love at first sight or they didn’t fall in love until after their 10th date...who cares. They love each other now, they’re committed to each other now, they’re making a life for themselves and their kids now. That’s really alllll that really matters here.

Clearly you’re not very fond of them so why are you even here??? Both were with other people at the time of their initial meeting per the interview. If you’re happy in a relationship you shouldn’t be looking for the next best thing. When they met two years later their personal life’s had changed. Clearly they saw each other in a different light at that point.
