Alabama basketball coach Nate Oats and seniors Mark Sears and Grant Nelson recap the Crimson Tide's 86-72 loss to UConn in the Final Four. (Video courtesy of the NCAA.)
Coach Oats is a gem, player first coach with strong will to win. I would imagine the players love to play for him. Watch out because he’s definitely going to be back in the NCAA tournament again!
Not a Bamba fan but how can you not root for this kid? In spite of his size he will get a lot of his pt in the pros. Besides he has the cutest mom in the world. Good luck!
I think BAMA had a wonderful season and made history for our school this year which by all accounts in the right direction. I think the difference in tonight’s game shows our offense is more one dimensional (Heavy on 3’s) but what happens when a good defensive team takes that away from you? I hope BAMA works on their offensive game driving to the hole and scoring jumpers in the paint. UCONN did a better job here and that is in my humble opinion why they won game. UCONN has a multi-dimensional offense and stellar D with very few turnovers. It will not surprise me if they dominate Purdue Monday night.
Purdue does not shoot the ball from 3 like Alabama and they run their offense primarily through the big man. I think Purdue will pose less of a threat than Alabama did. UConn has better players, plays better defense and can hurt any team from different angles. KOW
Nelson needed 2 centers that can rotate ..guys 7ft or more ..and help on rebounds cuz Alabama is slim in paint but we are a good team ...only dis advantage we get better cuz team has good chemistry I hope 🙏 the whole team returns and no body leaves early or transfer ROLLTIDE
