Without a doubt, my favourite moments are when Nate gets that twinkle in his eyes as he gets Aaron to start laughing. Nate digs in and keeps it going to keep Aaron laughing and eventually laughs himself. A good Nate laugh is a special thing. Congrats on two years folks!!
I could watch that Barry Sanders bit over and over! So fun to see all of you cracking up 😂. I loved Brian’s surprise announcement too! You’re all so great! Thank you for the good time!
The "best of" are so great. Brian's baby announcement was the best. I'm so grateful we got to see that special moment as their responses were so great. It's forever captured.
The way this best of started off made me finally realize why I love this podcast so much. Nate grabs ahold of some tiny detail and beats it to death the way I remember my grandparents doing when I used to go visit them. My grandmother would start a story and hang on the smallest detail and stretch it out over 45 minutes while she and my grandfather argued over this tiny detail that didn’t matter much to the overall story at all. Just when I thought Barnaby would be the one to remind me of my grandparents I was shocked to realize it was actually Nate.
There's nothing that makes me laugh harder than when the guys bust up laughing over something. And this best of is over an hour of that. It's the BEST.
Good night, the passion War dog has about peanut butter gets me every time. “You go up against Skippy and see how you do!” Sounds like Skippy is the schoolyard bully of peanut butters. 🤣🤣🤣
This podcast brings so much joy to my life. I love everything about it. I am also one of those that love how Nate mispronounces words. I think it’s funny because many of us do the same thing. I tend to switch up the beginning of words all the time, kind of how Nate said, “tear sherror.” One time, I was having a serious conversation with my boss. I meant to say “pretty sure” and instead said “surety pur.” The conversation derailed from there, and we didn’t bounce back. It’s now engraved in my mind, and I have to say it slowly to ensure I say it correctly.
Greg Warren defending his "sales" job and other industry secrets will always be some of my favorite moments on this podcast. That episode was sooo good!
Love listening to you guys while I deliver on my mail route. Now when I don’t see the dogs, that I know are probably around, I walk the streets saying “Hey Dog” . Also our safety memos say the last thing you should do is run from the dog, and I’m just like that’s the FIRST thing I wanna do. Thanks for all the entertainment you give all of us folks. Between all the Laughing and Hey Dogs I’m pretty sure my customers think I’m going insane. You, Aaron (like the grill) dusty and Burt “the bird man” bates keep up the great work.
The Barry Sanders bit had me crying because I was laughing so hard. The first time I watched it, I laughed throughout the day just remembering it. Glad to see it included in the "Best Of..." clips 🤣🤣
I’ve been watching a lot of Winnie the Pooh with my daughter lately and I’ve noticed that Nate is Winnie the Pooh (goofy, dislexic with a sweet tooth) Aaron is Owl (the smart one using big words) and Bates is a dead ringer for Piglet. Love you guys. I was here for ep. 1 and I’ll be here for ep. 1000
Just saw Aaron in Dania Beach on Sunday and he murdered! He was so good and I loved that he mentioned the podcast. Been proudly wearing my Aaronland shirt and have to say it's very comfortable for anyone else considering the purchase. Thanks for coming down to South Florida!
Recently discovered this podcast and have spent the last few weeks catching up on all the episodes. After listening to the Field of Dreams episode, and knowing how much you guys love baseball, you would appreciate the awesomeness of the fact that my son Owen and his 11 year old baseball team the Lincoln Cyclones from Lincoln Nebraska got to play their Memorial Day weekend tournament championship game on the Field of Dreams movie set field. They lost by one, but still a once in a lifetime experience. Keep up the good work and thank you for giving my boys and I something fun and educational to listen to together
My family went to Starks Caverns in the Ozarks last weekend, the tour guide kept saying there were bear bed indents from hundreds of years ago, so logically this was a good time to repeat "hey bear" several times just as a precaution. I have to say I was pretty disappointed that nobody on the tour responded with "hello folks." Happy 2 years, love the podcast.
I had an issue with my hot water recently. Thanks to Nateland, I was able to use the correct breathing techniques to take a cold shower. I learned these techniques from Mike, a man possessing a drive thru masters degree, and the second best comedian wrestler. Some day he may even wrestle for the "Stand-up Pin-Down Belt," but my money is on the peanut butter Pringle man to defend his title. I'll go proofread this now.
I definitely DO NOT recommend this episode while putting on makeup. “Horse divorce” right when I tried to put on eyeliner. So not good. I laughed so hard no sound was coming out. Love you guys! Thanks for all the laughs!
You guys should do an ep on Time Machines. Can’t wait to hear what Bartholomew would go back and change. Apart from not wearing the NKOTB shirt that is..
I hope you guys had a good time off the Best of was like you were never gone. The remembering of the hits like the waffle machine incident and who did it .Peat butter sales to best candy then not to forget Daddy Bates announcement .Then adding Dusty you guys just keep going on not missing a beat. What is next thanks for helping to keeping all us watching laughing.Yea one more thing saw Nate on Golf Digest channel 218 shot to 4 ft and drained a eagle put.lets Go
Hello folks! All the bear talk reminded me of a little thing that I picked up some years ago. It was about how to distinguish what types of bears were in the area. And you can tell by the evidence that they leave behind, dung. So if the pile is black and fibrous and small assume that you have a black bear in the area as their diet is mostly vegetation and such. If the dung smells like pepper and has bells in it you can assume it’s a grizzly bear. Shout out to breakfast! And I want to say the addition of the calf jacker has been a good one!!
Seriously? I could not be more disappointed in this “best of” episode. Where is the 15 minutes of Nate calling Breakfast a cow for being a bad traveler?
I was laughing so hard at this episode that I forgot to stop at a stop sign I see almost everyday and got a careless driving ticket. keep up the good work!
okay i might have changed my mind after this. but maybe we keep evolving and a new pole needs to made or just a decree that hello Folks! and the reply is Hey, bear!
We could all have an opinion on Hello Folks vs Let's Go Folks. This is not a political podcast fellas! You guys make a call, we'll get on board! Nathaniel, Professor BBQ (Weber one B) and Butterscotch are my favourite podcasters. Keep it up you legends, and get your backsides to Australia for a live podcast!
I just realized something hilarious the other day searching for Bushnell's comedy. In chrome when you type his name, in the suggestions it labels him as musical artist. It does the same for Aaron. Nate is "American comedian" and Dusty is just "comedian". Nate and Dusty need to get on B-roni and Aaron's level if they want to be taken seriously at the Grammys
On the bit about the high frequency stuff. I worked at a golf store and they had those sensors in the clubs to help figure out your distances. I kept hearing some very soft, but annoying ringing and it was driving me insane until I figured out it was just the sensors in the clubs. I asked around and only the younger people on the staff could hear it too
I remember when dusty came on the podcast. Aaron wasn’t happy. Now Aaron is posting Dusty’s videos AND working with him. Did HR have to talk to Aaron?? My family and I love the podcast.
I'm going to start opening my work emails with a "Hello folks!" greeting, and begin my agenda during client meetings with a hearty "Let's go folks!" Will report back on how that goes. Maybe I'm working with fellow Nateland fans and don't know it!
My wife and I are celebrating our 10th anniversary by going to see Nate in Wilmington. Nate, Want to come have dinner with us before the show? Haven’t asked my wife yet, but she’ll be good with it.
Ever since hearing Breakfast tell the story about the girl calling him worried, I’ve been curious to see a picture of him from high school. Give the people what they want!
Can we get someone to make a shirt for Nateland or Nate Bargatze and the quote “most confident sitter in the world”? If designed right I would love to wear it and imagine the amount of “hey bears” I might hear out in the wild.
Dusty reminds me of "Mad" Mike Hughes, who crashed his homemade rocket trying to prove the Earth was flat. They're both obviously smart, but skeptical of widely accepted scientific facts. Fun fact: "Mad" Mike Hughes also set the world record for the farthest full size limousine ramp jump before he crashed and died in his homemade rocket. Be careful out there, Dusty!
The if you had a billion dollars where would you hide. Nate said at your mom's house like he had that in his back pocket just waiting to be asked that question 🤣
Blown away my comment about Nate reaching around Brian after the baby announcement made the recap show. Bummed they removed my name at beginning of reading that comment
