All this while suffering upper respiratory infection. Imagine what a 100% healthy, well-practiced Nathan Chen can do! He was coming off a flu and only a few days of practice at Worlds and still won by a mile! 😍😍
@lawomann A lot of Japanese fans on Twitter reported that he was in a really bad way the day of the free skate, though. And he does look quite unwell at the medal ceremony videos. He skipped the banquet to recuperate as well. So I'm with you on the camp that he's never one to make excuses for himself (he even absolved the media of any fault at PyeongChang -- saying that everything was all on him and his mental game there). I'm afraid of making such proclamations re: Yuzu vs. Nathan. Anything I've ever said online that leans even ever so slightly towards Nathan's favor has always been taken by "them" as uneducated, uncultured delusions or a toxic philosophy that contributes to the deterioration of the sport. 😑😑 So I'm just gonna say this: whoever comes out on top between Yuzu and Nate, that man deserves it. Finally, I hope some of Yuzu's fans can have a 'live and let live' attitude towards people who compliment or appreciate Nathan Chen. Yes, Yuzuru is the real skating god/GOAT. Some of us just happen to like Nathan more. Nothing wrong with different faves, yeah? 😊 And also, more success for Nathan doesn't take anything away from Yuzuru's glory. He's GOAT/skating god after all, isn't he? That became far too tangiental and wordy than is necessary. Sorry 😊😊✌✌
@@valheriannmitchelltoledo5450 Preach!!! Yuzu follower here for a long time then stumbled upon Nathan and got hooked so deep. Still respect Yuzu though but Nathan is really2x good and super cool. I respect everything he does on and off the ice. What an incredible skater and person. 😎
@lawomann Yes, Nathan is in a great shape:) And Yuzuru has always had problems with his stamina, probably due to his asthma and recently his constant injuries:/
@lawomann I think every fandom, unfortunatelly, has some mean individuals:/ It's just Yuzuru's is much bigger than any other skater and that's why there is, proportionally, more not very nice people :(
