Love, Love, LOVE this program! Choreography really accentuates his jump and spin talent. His interpretation is mesmerizing!!! He is truly a gifted skater!!!!!
I have never seen him do a flip out a 3-turn or an axel out a forward inside bracket (that he did at "The ICE" La Boheme). It's a subtle detail but I love it so much. Especially the axel entry
Nathan you have gained a plus 5 in each of these Quads... several other elements looked just great... hand on your head and on the ice was new and beautiful. Your head back more and moving more in spins was beautiful and so intune with the music... you are the king and our champion still. you can do no wrong darling...
It will be much better than skating at a Japanese show and will continue to improve. Beautiful and soft movement of arms and hands, elegant fragrance is felt and it is wonderful.
Why scream at everything? Can't just watch and appreciate the performance and give credit when he's completed? Very cool performance Nathan, well done.
for some reason the choreo is way off. I don't really see a match to the music.. a lot of arms flalling all over the place but no substance or sight of the story hes trying to tell.. this needs a lot of work...
Any suggestion on how to skate with "substance or sight of the story" while remaining (successfully) athletic? It's hard for a single skater to do what you might expect, meaning acting out the lyrics. It would be easier with ballet or ice dance because the dancers could act with one another. Not to say that the choreography of this piece can't be improved, but it can be improved only to a certain point and without doing away with those magnificent jumps. After all, the audience came to see Nathan Chen skate and his quads.
Великий маже Загайнов wow c’mon I think he just want to have sone fun already, he is a 2X world champion and I wouldn’t want my man to burn out from always got to be perfect so this is a good change, just have some kick ass rocking fun, oh yeah.
Was not thrilled with land of all at first also but man did he take that to a higher level by nationals and worlds. Now my favorite. Patience for now, it will get better. I like this attitude of his. Try new programs and improve them.
