Combine this product with xylitol for oral health and you will get a synergistic effect. in the same way, I suggest this xylitol nasal spray to patients with periodontal disease (who are using my mouth care system to cure their periodontal problems) - explaining that nasal biofilm and oral biofilm communicate with each other - and both need to become healthy to stay healthy.

Using an electric toothbrush, waterpik, xylitol mints and a rinse, fluoride rinse, floss, and a gum stimulator. Let's hope I can save my teeth. My teeth are much more white and shiny. And my gums feel better and look better. The periodontist behaves like she wanted to pull all my teeth out. My gums are receding here and there. Teeth look much better now after 4 weeks.

I used to have chronic sinusitis. I was taking antibiotics like 5-6 times per year. Call me crazy, but I think all of the IV antibiotics I had with abdominal surgery knocked out the "bugs" (2013), and within a few years felt the sinusitis creep back in. I discovered Xlear nasal spray in 2017. I don't think I've had sinusitis since then. I've also been using xylitol toothpaste. No more cavities!!! My dentist kept pushing fluoride. I needed more fluoride. Prescription strength fluoride. Peesha. Xylitol is the answer.

The bacteria of chronic sinusitis are also bacteria found in periodontal pockets as pathogens of gum disease. Anyone with sinus issues should be aware of this connection and vice versa

@@dr.elliephillips I would consider myself quite healthy, following mostly a low sugar, paleo style diet for almost 20 years, incorporating exercise etc, and since I started listening to your videos and using xylitol sugar and gum as you recommend, I have not only noticed improvement with my oral health, but my chronically on/off sinus congestion has significantly improved. My question is, how is it possible that I have obviously had such a persistent low grade bacterial infection in my naso-pharangeal cavity?? I'm shocked, but thrilled to be breathing much better and obviously improving my oral health without damaging my teeth further with dental treatment. 🙏🙏
@dr.elliephillips

@@LAKI_ONE Many chronic sinus pathogens are the same family - even identical strains to those we find in chronic periodontal disease. These are opportunistic pathogens that multiply when they have access periodontal pockets around teeth. The key is to heal all the periodontal pockets in your mouth with my strategies -so they are eliminated. Without periodontal pockets - these pathogens cannot multiply ( as they require an environment = dark and low oxygen spaces - found within periodontal pockets). My suggestion is to ensure you have no pocketing. My strategies focus on healing pockets with specific mouth rinses and gum massage. When you have eliminated gum pockets in your mouth - you should consider an orchestrated push to eliminate any residual sinus infection. I believe Xlear has a sinus wash - and I would throw this and xylitol at your sinus - but only WHEN you have eliminated any last sign of periodontal pockets. Until you do this - problematic pathogens will continue to have a place to multiply in your mouth and then they happily travel back to your sinus.

I bought xlear at my local Walgreens. So I assume there are other Walgreens that sell it. The one I bought has grapefruit seed extract in it, which is supposed to remove the biofilm fungus forms. I have a fungal sinus infection for 5 months now. I've been using this nasal spray for a couple of weeks. I also have grapefruit seed extract in a dropper bottle. I put 6 drops in my neti pot so it gets all the way into my upper sinuses. I'm thinking of spraying the xlear in the neti pot, too. Can't hurt. I'm feeling a tad better after 2 weeks of using the xylitol nasal spray. I am so, so glad I found this channel. Dealing with these infections can be depressing. Thank God for this stuff!

My Mum had chronic sinusitis for decades, lost her sense of smell in her 50’s and ended up getting dementia and passing away. Other than that she hardly had a day of illness in her life, was strong, fit and healthy, with a great diet and lifestyle. This is just my theory based on lots of research I’ve done into dementia. Loss of smell can be one of the first signs of cognitive decline, I’ve known several people since who’ve had the same progression from loss of smell to the onset of dementia several years later. With all of the research into the importance of nasal breathing and the nitric oxide link to brain health, I wonder if these chronic low level sinus issues leading to constant mouth breathing are continually reducing oxygen, therefore nitric oxide, flow to the brain which over decades could be leading to severe cognitive decline. I’m now in my late 50’s and noticing the same pattern with low level chronic sinus inflammation and beginning to feel my brain is definitely not working as well as it used to so I’m really keen to find a solution to this problem. I’ve been using nasal sprays and netti pot washing with reasonable effect but nothing is really solving the problem. I notice it gets worse overnight and I often wake up breathing through my mouth and with a stuffy blocked nose. I’d really like to find a long term solution to this issue so helpful comments would be welcome. I’m definitely going to give this a try. Also interested to find out if the problem comes back when someone stops using the xylitol nasal spray.

@@recuerdos2457 I don’t use xylitol in my nose on a regular basis. I have pretty stubborn congestion so it was somewhat helpful to keep things clean but not to fix the problem. I use a nasal oil by barakka to keep the passages moisturized and I like that better. I use xylitol for my teeth though to rinse with before i brush and it works great for cavities and all. Diet changes help too for me and horseradish is good for immediate relief of sinus congestion. Probiotics from food or supplements, avoiding sugar and processed grains/foods, and eating nutritious food helps me. I notice dairy bothers me as well (not really butter though) with increasing mucus so getting dairy that has been fermented to get rid of the lactose works better for me.

Oh my. I am going to try it as my sinus is a mess, especially on the right side all the way to my olfactory nerves causing me unable to smell. I put a crayon in my nose at 5. They ran me to a doctor that thought he shoved it down my esophagus. Nope. He sent it way up my sinus where it lodged for 20 years, my growing, formative years, until I almost choked on a hard, ugly thing at 25 reading in bed. An ENT, that I ran to, said, "What have we here. A green crayon." Well I am now in my 60's and they have me using rinses with another, stronger steroid. A month has gone by and still I have no smell. I also have a deviated septum with hypertrophic terminates. The ENT said they are the least of my worries and surgery would be risky because blockage is extensive and all the way up to those nerve endings.
