OMG! He is adorable! CRAZY cute!!!! BTW...in the video, I noticed (it appeared) that both of you knew & used, "the secret" weapon: *Never attempt introducing solid foods to babies, with an empty stomach!* ('seasoned professionals' know, it NEVER turns out well, doing it any other way. lol) #1. Always FEED your baby 15 - 20 min. BEFORE the intro to solids & peas meal! (about 4 - 6 ounces of milk/formula, depending on age...or about 1/3 of what their reg bottle is) mixed with just enough cereal in a bottle to thick'n it up. ewwww...yuck...yuuuuuucky! *gag'n* ooops! sorry, bad childhood memory! lol ;O) I promise, they'll still have room and want more to eat. But with the bonus of: a semi-full, relaxed, calm and PATIENT baby. Hungry, but without the sense of 'urgency', or immediate need to feed. The 'urgency' is the reason for the: "I'm starve'n...think I'll eat my fingers now, then yours...um...and then maybe a side of beef" kind'a baby. And yep! Babies will still gag on, spit out and/or throw up everything you just fed them....but with a huge difference...the baby KNOWS family meals will be a 'one BABY step at a time' affair....at THEIR pace & comfort level. There's no perception of 'urgency', rooting, sucking fingers, anxiety, frustration or distress. You're looking at a; "no need to rush mom...I'm good." kind'a baby. And because the baby's showing you ("figurative you" lol) their comfort level's still high, at least until after the: "Trial~n~Error, Rocky Horror: Featuring Mr. Pea's Show" dinner is over and they happily chow down on a more familiar staple.....for now. You're calm & relaxed, baby's calm, relaxed, happy, more 'flexible' to adapt to little changes (routine, foods etc) even appears willing to attack, whatever's on the menu. PS. almost forgot! a quick diaper change after bottle, but before the Mr Peas Rocky Horror Show Dinner, is usually a good idea anyone know of someone about to dive into that whole process? Well..come on y'all, be a 'friend'! Clue em' in! ;O)
