These lyrics were questions I asked myself and I am scared a lot of time and never want to show who I am or people might really walk away so hearing these lyrics just put what I think sometimes into words. This was beautiful and I feel like every line was put together with a lot of thought and pain.

This song is another masterpiece made by Nathan and I love it so much, it's so beautifully done. And my favorite part of it all is the last bit- where he asks if the person would run away after revealing his dark parts and for the last line he delivers, instead of asking "Would you run away? Or would you stay?" He instead says "Would you run away? Or *are you the same?"* and that strikes me because when you hear someone confessing they're scared to talk about their darker parts, it's because they want the person to stay with them. Yet Nathan was caring, he was caring for the person who he is scared to lose because of showing his darker parts despite him being here talking about all his emotions like this, almost like shouting and telling the person I'm scared to lose you. So through out all this torment and wanting to not be lonely, he still chose to be sweet and understanding. I love it.

This song is a complete reflection of my life. Everyday I see someone who is loved by someone and they love them just for who they are. Then there is me, who wants it so bad and probably deserves it more than those who takes advantage of it, yet I never get a chance. Not mention I dont have many friends. I try to be the best person I can be by being authentic, nice, kind, soft and understanding. I’m not like most other guys. I’m not “the macho drinking jock”. I’m a person who likes sunsets, dogs, writing poetry, photography, and being goofy.
