Richard Overton, the nation's oldest veteran, celebrated his 111th birthday with a luncheon at the University of Texas Club followed by a party at his East Austin home. The street he's lived on for more than 70 years was also given an honorary name. FOX 7's Casey Claiborne has the story.

My great-grandmother was Born in 1900 and dies 2014 :-( but she walk since she get 113 than she fall broke leg and never get up. But Respekt to all, how hit the 100 !!! And i like old Peoples how live like they want! I hope im a cool guy like Richard when im Old :-D

Damn. Still walking too. Wow, this man was a teenager during ww1. Streets were dirt roads, interstates didnt exist, and no tv existed. The big ww1 and ww2 broadcasts were through big wooden radios. Holy shit. Not to mention companies like Ford were just making those old cars with bicycle wheels.
