This swayed me, but I've got some issues fully believing they can get 2 at Alabama. Think 1 against A&M is manageable as long as the whole lineup can produce - not just White/Bear. Ole Miss would love to play spoiler though... One question - who would LSU theoretically be matched against in round 1 of the SEC tourney if they make it in?

So if the tournament started today, LSU would either be the 12 or 11 seed. They would be matched with the 5 or 6. State would be the 5 and South Carolina via tiebreak with Vandy would be the 6.

I think that math makes sense but taking a game against A&M seems like a stretch with how lackluster the offense has been. I also think taking 2 against Alabama away is a tough ask. Not confident in Holman away, especially at his old school

Musso they’re saying LSU can get in with 13-17. That’s what we’ve been telling you. LSU isn’t getting in with 11 wins

I'm not saying LSU can get in at 11. They can't. What I've said all along is if LSU gets to 11 and wins 2 games in the SEC Tournament the committee views that as 13 conference wins. That's the path. No team is ever getting in with 11 conf wins. They need the tournament. My contention is they don't need to win the tournament. They just need to get to 13 or 14 wins in the eyes of the committee. Them being 4 spots away at 7 wins points to that being possible.

I have zero faith that this team can get a series win against the #1 team in the country. They’ve shown you who they are at this point. Inconsistent against mediocre teams and not good at all against top tier SEC teams. And next year isn’t looking good either.
