The "Brazilian National Anthem" (Portuguese: Hino Nacional Brasileiro) was composed by Francisco Manuel da Silva in 1831 and had been given at least two sets of unofficial lyrics before a 1922 decree by President Epitácio Pessoa gave the anthem its definitive, official lyrics, by Joaquim Osório Duque-Estrada, after several changes were made to his proposal, written in 1909.
The anthem's lyrics have been described as Parnassian in style and Romantic in content.

This is actually just the first stanza. There are two stanzas. That's why in soccer games Brazilians keep singing after the anthem 'ended': they play the first stanza, but we Brazilian sing the second one.

I think they still singing the rest of the first stanza, because at this video (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-SrUB4rMMEp8.html&ab_channel=FootballAnthems), i noticed that in the first stanza, most of the parts are cropped. In this video (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-aAiG5ZM4qeI.html&ab_channel=R.C), they removed the part from "seo penhor dessa igualdade" to "a imagem do cruzeiro resplandece"

Portugal gastou muito de suas riquezas em suas próprias colônias, além do mais, o Brasil não precisa mais do "nosso ouro" somos a 8° maior economia do mundo, e segundo estudos, estaremos no top 5 das maiores economias daqui algum tempo, pra quê depredar lindas igrejas por causa de ouro levado há quase dois séculos, e quando Brasil tecnicamente era de Portugal?
