Today marks the 100 year anniversory of Lenin's revolution in Russia. I know the original anthem was Рабочая Марсельза, but I thought the internationale was more fitting and also the audio quality of the original anthem is not so great.
Map is wrong: "International" was an anthem in 1917-1944, map is from 1945. And it is general map of Soviet Union, Russian RSFSR was much more smaller! And if you use this flag, which was flag of RSFSR in 1917-21, you should use map from this period.
Ukraine, belarus, the three republics of the Caucasus and few central asian SSRs should be removed. And it does not look like the 1945 map because there are no baltic SSRs and half of belarus is under polish occupation.
A beautiful anthem indeed.. but unfortunately a socialist society in the true sense has failed to be accomplished..the problem lies with human beings and not in ideology..human beings are selfish, opportunistic and hierarchical in nature..therefore despite destroying the old order, it comes back in the new form..Lenin abolished the tsarist regime and brought communism..but unfortunately a similar tsarist elite came through the nomenklatura later..unfortunately in politics no matter how appealing an ideology looks is about capturing power and not about belief..only a small elite succeeds in very system and creates a vested interest..human beings despite all idealistic bs of inclusivity are basically exclusive in nature..that is why despite communism, racism is still quite prevalent in Russia.. ofcourse racism, class, religious wars, caste etc exist in all parts of the world and socialism could not eradicate it.. that is why ideologies like socialism while looking great in theory failed in practice..Russia is a classic example of this..
@sergeykotikov6937 yeah that is why communism and socialism fail as idealistic principles do not work out in real life..Individual sacrifices for a cause do though..In India we had Bhagat Singh who was a communist and inspired by Lenin..He had sacrificed his life for the freedom of India and for socialism !!!So the most an individual can do is sacrifice..Politics whether communism or capitalism is about opportunism and never about principles..
@@element1192 Fortunately, I am not stupid (communist), but my country sadly has been since 2018 But let's hope that soon communism will totally disappear
@@НиколайРоманов-л6ю you completely missed the point of this song the internationale is a call to action against the oppressor's and a freedom hymn for workers and peasants.
@@U.N.S.R it seems you don't understand, peasants had no role in the revolution, its was a war between the nobles and the workers, after the revolution, the People's Comissary would sack villages and steal farms and give free foods to workers, this led to the Soviet Union suffering over 70 Million casualties in a span of 69 years, along with a 30 Million deaths from WW2 and the incompetent Stalinist leadership, the USSR carelessly spilled over 90 Million lives in just 69 years. Let the workers die, they're savage, and they're worthless as well. Peasants and Tsar was all we needed. You can really see who's the oppressor here. The reason nobody is telling stories of Soviet Oppression is because they all died in the Purge, Stalin killed all educated and rich people and anyone who had foreign ties, Stalin was a killer, just like Hitler, in fact he was worse, Hitler wanted the best for his people, Stalin did the worst things to his own people.
@@НиколайРоманов-л6ю ok but you're talking about Stalin what about Lenin and also did you ignore the fact that Hitler killed 6 million or more jews in the holocaust
it isn't an anthem btw for the idiots that think this the actual anthem of the USSR or if russian CCCP just a reminder not for both of you just the idiots
And if only the Union didnt fall to revisionism. The revolutionary principles of Freedom, Democracy and popular control could have been preserved. Long live the revolution. Long live the Anti-Reactionary crusade
Lenin should’ve emphasized universally arming the proletariat above everything else. With everyone in the country armed, the civil war and ww2 would’ve been won swiftly, and cold war leaders wouldn’t have been able to enact the revisionist policies that doomed them.
@@itsfilipinoball8129 Eastern Europe has had famines since the beginning of human settlement there. Picking out one that happened during the Soviet era is just cherry-picking.
Long live the poor who call for their cause and their dignity against the decaying bourgeois class, which since ancient times has pressed the proletariat class, which does not have the inherent power, but with their patience and impulsiveness, they have destroyed the rich and regained their dignity.
The Bourgeois haven't existed since ancient times, they are the evolution of the burghers and petty bourgeois classes of the middle ages. The Proletariat class isn't ancient either, they have only existed since the Bourgeois developed industry, before they were serfs, slaves, etc.
@@kevd008 Not really because in Marxism, middle class don't exist. In Marxism there is 3 class: The proletariat who are people who doesn't own their meaning of production and who must sell their work force to live. The little "bourgeoisie" who are people who own their meaning of production but must continue to work, they can't produce like the "big" bourgeois's company so they are "eated" by them and became proletarians. And finaly the Bourgeoisie who own meaning of production and don't need to work to live... I hope, I have been clear, I'm not english speaker 😅
@@sovietunion6109 There will be Communism as long as there is Capitalism, surprisingly though, most countries who had revolutions didn't have anything to do with the Soviet union, did you know the first worker's revolution was in France?
@@kingdomofprussia4649 I've heard about it but don't know a lot about it, but yeah, it's crazy how spread the idea of communism is, for example, here in my country the only people that talk about communism are farmers, I even saw a graffitti that said that the only way to stop corruption in the country is socialism and I was like "waaaaaaat" I even asked my dad about it, I just couldn't believe there were socialists in my country, it felt good
"no one will grant us deliverance, not god, nor tsar, nor hero. we will win our liberation with our very onw hands." man, this line hits so hard, it describes the people's fight so well. too bad this mindset later turned into mindlessly worshipping Lenin and Stalin.
@@Hanuman-zn4sgi would assume trotsky would have been less harse on other nations allowing them to have better diplomatic relations with the west, and probably no cold war. And thus no collapsenof the soviet union
yes,the Soviets have a bad reputation for being monsters, but that only applies to (in my opinion) Stalin, yes he was a ww2 hero but was a killing machine to his own people, but we have to admit that: 1-without the ussr's strong and stiff resistance,we would've lost ww2 2-THEIR MUSIC IS EPIC Edit:guys I'm fucking addicted to this song it's like drugs and I joined the communist party of Iraq (secretly) ☭
