THE GOLDEN EAGLE 🦅 SYMBOL OF THE MEXICAN NATION 🇲🇽 - The moment of truth has arrived, go tomorrow, guide the brave Nahuas to their destiny, because their suffering is my pain, they will stop being nomads, now they will be strangers in a hostile land, of which you will be owners, well I will make you the most powerful warrior people, their history will be told for generations, they will speak wonders of the greatness of their Empire. When will you find the beautiful eagle devouring the snake on the prickly pear around it you will see a lot of green, blue, red, yellow and white feathers of the gallant birds, on the islets near the lake, that will be my signal, there you have to build the capital of the town destined to the glory, you will name this place Tenochtitlan”.- Revealed in a dream the Aztec god Huitzilopochtli, to the leader of the Nahuas, Tenoch. The next day Tenoch guided by the prophecy he had had of his god, ordered the Nahuas to march to the nearby islets of Lake Texcoco, to meet their destiny, at first incredulous, Tenoch's oracle turned out to be true, On a nearby islet, there was an eagle devouring the snake, the Aztecs knelt down, as a sign of respect, and wept with joy and happiness. - Oh my lord Huitzilopochtli, it is his will, here I have to found Tenochtitlán.- Tenoch exclaimed. Finally the Aztecs founded their city Mexico-Tenochtitlán, capital of the Aztec Empire (current Mexico City) on June 20, 1325, being the sign of the God Huitzilopochtli, the golden eagle perched on a nopal, the origin of the national coat of arms of Mexico.
1:48 MEXICO 🇲🇽 Good for those who do not know the national animal of Mexico is the royal eagle which is present in the national coat of arms, and its origin dates back to the Aztec Empire. (The Mexican Eagle 🦅 is older than the symbol of the United States). The god Huitzilopochtli, in an oracle, had ordered the Aztecs to establish their capital city in a place where they saw an eagle standing on a prickly pear devouring a snake. They did so. The history of the eagle and the serpent can be traced to the founding of Mexico-Tenochtitlan (present-day Mexico City) around 1325.
Nice , but no country names , and either old flags , but good to know . I think years ago was a better info , maybe this one is a copycat ‽ and wouldn't be a pic's of a real animal ‽
1:01=Hungary - originally Condor eagle , but now this not really comonly know : the SAKER FALCON ( those are symbolisticly for the hungarian females ! ) etc...
Fact : The Great Indian Bustard (Ardeotis nigriceps) was a strong contender for being claimed as the National Bird of India. But, considering a possible national embarrassment because the name of the bird is similar to a particular abuse, the bird that eventually got the honor was the peacock 🦚😇
Not really bastard bird is only found in western India while peacocks are in whole india , secondly they are originally indian species except green one in java, second it is very important in religion and culture and arts
