This is so awesome. My parents had a 1975 Dodge van 3000 series that had the camper conversion with the raised roof and complete with gold shag carpet. Really fun looking at these Boogie Vans. Thanks!
Took my mom to the show, she'll be 74 years young this year. She had a great time! My uncle, her brother had a 2nd gen E100 called "Tequila Sunrise" in the late 70's/early 80's, at the show my mom informed me that my dad (he passed 8 years ago) had a 2nd gen as well that he sold to my grandfather. I told her that I never knew that, turns out I remember the van because he kept it for years and I just didn't know that it was originally my dads. Man, how I wish both those vans where still in the family. 😥
Another vlogger, in this case, via FB, noted that custom vans seemed to be making a comeback, and I commented my agreement...and added that I'd like to see the same thing with mini trucks!
I Like the older Dodge right near the end of the video. The white 60s Chevy was just like the van my band used to transport our gear in the 70s except ours was school bus yellow. ...I expected to hear more disco music on this one...
Hey Mike, Great video on the van show. You have a awesome Dodge van which I also had a 1977 back in 1981. Between you filming vans on the West coast and jjlightning filming on the East coast you guys keep the vanning craze going. Super job!!

I was there today allowing my daughters to feed the feral waterfowl, and that's when we noticed the vans cruising in. Nothing like weed and exhaust to bring the full spirit of the show alive.
Hi Mike thanks for the great vids. I'm local to the West LA area and I have a couple vans. You seem pretty dialed in to the scene and I would love to know more about local events, as I always seem to hear about them after the fact. I have a 77 Chevy G10 Shortie and an 89 Dodge B150 with a 5 speed manual not a swap, it came from the factory with the 5 speed. Let me know what's poppin' bro, I'm always down for a cruise.
