Human memory is a subtle matter. The more new knowledge and important experience we gain - the farther away from us are our youth and childhood, and the memories of relatives who are no longer with us become thinner.
However, there are things that to forget about is like forgetting about yourself. They are engraved in the memory of millions, encoded in it to remind us of what is important. The Holodomor of 1932-1933 is a grief we want to forget about. The genocide of the Ukrainian people is a crime against humanity that must be remembered.
Together with the National Museum of the Holodomor-Genocide, we want to remind you that there is a page in Ukrainian history that needs to be opened not only on Remembrance Day.
Visit the Museum to learn more about your people’s history. Don't be afraid to discover it - a person lives as long as the memory of him lives. So let's remember the millions who fell victim to the regime and help them live longer in our memory.
