As we observe National Preparedness Month this September, FEMA is committed to making emergency preparedness accessible to all communities, with a particular focus on Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) populations. Our mission is to empower these communities with the knowledge and tools needed to effectively prepare for and respond to emergencies.
Across the country, communities are bracing for potential storms and other emergencies. In recognition of National Preparedness Month, it is crucial that individuals and communities understand their risks, develop comprehensive plans, and take proactive steps towards safeguarding their well-being.
