@@marcritchie4968 Totally correct! There have been several of these NT 'exposes' recently and most of them have really awakened my interest and I have marked them down as places to visit when in their areas. You see so much from the air, and really appreciate the size and scope of the property.

I don't think they are worried about losing the odd entrance fee..... I think there is genuine concern for public safety and security..... However I think they are more concerned over a drone operator making a few bucks from selling copies of his shoot. I don't think they consider publishing a drone guy's vid on a social network is going to generate more visitors.

@robba1234 it's a drone mate. The national trust do a lot to preserve and protect our countries national parks, stately homes and environment within those regions - yet because they don't want drones on their sites the national trust are the problem and labelled all sorts of crap. As an adult I see it as pathetic and the people that are commenting in the same way also. DJE has some complex going on like a only child who got their own way and disregards anyone's wishes to do so. He's a scab and his content would be overlooked if it wasn't for his self created drama.

They genuinely seem to employ a massively disproportionate amount of people with horrible superior tone, like that last girl, you're an admin assistant for the National Trust sneering at a guy who is coming in to alleviate concerns of an apparently distressed colleague and your main aim is to make sure you sound superior.

i don't think they like seeming as though the auditors mean anything to their day. I understand that. Some of it is human nature. A person turns up, tries to engage and tell you that they are going to do whatever, then after a bit of escalating etc, the staff are proved wrong...I think they then just want to get on with their day, as though the incident never happened. So they don't make sure word gets passed up the ladder, they seem to want to forget about it happening.

exactly, places like this won't be run in the same way in 10 years time, I wouldn't think. Most 18-40 year old's don't want to drive for an hour then pay 15-20 quid each to walk around a site for half an hour.

Actually it's the complete opposite now. Labour voters are from the public sector, unions, government bodies, councils, charities and the like. That's proven fact. Which is why all the union workers get a pay rise every time labour get in. Tory voters now consist of self employed, buisness owners, working class and the rich. Ie people that in most cases receive no government wages or funds. Its a long time since labour were for the working class.
