Just Rocks* that’s what the state tells me when they see the photo realistic portrait on the avatar, there’s a complicated multifaceted style of art that goes un* recognized by human beings until we learn it. I learned it after they destroyed an indigenous mound in my community and now I have dedicated my life to teaching everyone else about it. No bullshit.
My husband and I have a 100 acre farm in upstate NY. You would need MANY groups of archeologists to go through everything.. (Dutchess County) EVERYTHING that you could imagine...everything. I'm going to make it public soon. I'm still praying about how to go about it.
What an amazing lecture😮....I've been studying,in the field ,here in N.Florida(Big Bend) Stone formations,Effigies,Sites....... This is an amazing area that was plowed over and under for the papper mill by huge machinery destroying everything. Luckily the state saved areas and there are still undisturbed sites near big cypress swamps or rivers. I've been documenting everything.
Whether the structures originated before the Europeans could be confirmed if their positions could be dated, perhaps by lichen patterns or weathering patterns.
Much easier to simply dig under them and see what you find. If they are colonial then you will inevitably find colonial era artifacts under one and if they are not then you will find some pre colonial dateable material like bone or charcoal.
You can bet it’s been done and I imagine the only reason it hasn’t been published is because they didn’t like the results. Something so easy to prove and yet they haven’t.
Colonists would have been better at building walls, though I've been told that they would take all the rocks they pulled up when landscaping & throw them in a line of piles on the edge of their properties. It's interesting to know what the purposes of some of these are, because there is a massive one in northern West Virginia that archeologists know about, but could never make much sense of. Their best guess was it was an elaborate buffalo trap, since they found so many butchered animal bones along it.
I own 50 acres and about a week ago on my property I found stacked stones oval shaped and the enclosure is about 15 feet long. On one end I searched down about 5 inches and found a flat rock about two oval in size. On top of this flat rock were arrowheads, hand tools all placed on top of this one rock. I’ve been trying to see if possible someone could actually come and look or even excavate this ancient site. The entire enclosure is about 15 feet long and about 8 feet wide. I’ve only searched one small are and only dug about 5 inches deep and found about 25 different artifacts. At this point if I can’t get any help discovering this site, I will just investigate it myself. I would rather any of the artifacts go to a museum to future research and observation.
Which Acton? I have not heard the name of the state your in? That said, I'm in Maine. I am sure I have a stone circle and serpant teeth like stones in a North/South alignment. This year (2023) I will run string from to tooth to tooth and use my drone to photograph them. I will include some way of temporarily marking the circle. Servey tape? Though the circle stones are noticible, it's the 3 stones inside that make me wonder. If you lay on one of them you face the Sun rising on or about, Equinox. Now! I'm not sharing what appears on it when a lite dusting of snow covers it!
We have a few of these outside a overhang bluff that still have native american paintings on it, didnt think much of it really we have been taking care of this site my whole life basically so methheads dont destroy it looking for stuff but if anyone wants to see the paintings i made a video on my channel showing them
I wish I didn't have to navigate off the video page to find out what state you're in. Three minutes in and you still haven't mentioned the state. Great topic though.
I found this lecture and photos excellent. I have seen many similar rock structures throughout Massachusetts and New England. I believe many more have been lost to development over time. Thank you!
Very interesting. I think if you put this together into the context of things that are found in several other states in the north, eastern and southeastern parts of North America, you’ve got a cultural movement. There are stone walls and structures in the southeastern United States as well. For some reason, a number of persons of influence in archaeology and government don’t like discussing this information. There are similar stone walls and structures in other places around the world as well. Very interesting stuff. When I lived abroad for a number of years in Britain, the ancient stone structures and alignment stones were literally all over the place in England. Some places the structures had been damaged heavily by farming and more modern development. In other more rural places, you could still see the stones and their original positions. I’ve also heard of stone structures being found in Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, New Hampshire, and Michigan. We have stone structures in Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, and only recently, although state authorities, totally deny it in South Carolina. I do not know why state and federal government officials fight this so much.
@@nancyfrances344 Well, I’m going to pass on answering that, but I will say that I’m sure that there are other reasons besides finding the bones of Giants. Considering that there are only going to be so many locations that is going to occur.
Wait, do any of these take specific geological patterns, like rings or octagons or two joined structures? This is making me wonder if some of the Mound structures in Ohio that we couldn't identify might be more elaborate versions of these.
Oh. At the end of your wonderful presentation you had two mysterious stone structures. I referred earlier to Dragons Teeth. Your pic in the left of Mysterious objects I'd what I'm seeing going north n south away from a circular stone placement that does not look glacial, like erratics would look. I count 5 of these Dragon Teeth stones about 50 or so feet apart. Thoughts?
All of these structures already have a name. The Native Europeans made these exact same structures. Making these stone sights was obviously brought here by ancient Native Europeans during the Era of Clovis
