Thank you sir. I'm native and our culture is so important to me to share with my sons. Our children were stolen from schools until the 60s and 70s and given to white families to be raised. Our way of live has been stolen. If our stories are lost now the fact is we don't exist anymore. We are the bravest warriors. Fun fact to share... all usa attack helicopters are named after native tribes, they yell Geronimo for strength and bravery when they jump into combat from planes. Ww2 the navajo language was unbreakable and used them to carry the most important codes and was never broken. I say again thank you sir. It is an antenna we can use to stay in touch or tune with that power. I am male and Anishenabeg, my hair is long, it always has been. It is difficult for men to wear long at times because of the dominant culture, and for Women for the same reasons I suppose. When my Mother passed and when my Great Uncle passed, it was cut. I allowed it to grow out again after that. They say when we dream, at times we might leave our bodies and travel, we keep a braid on top of our scalp to help us find our way home...this is the basics as I was taught by the Manitiweelnau of our Midewidjig. Long hair on Men used to generally be normal and Men in china, japan and much of the rest of the world were proud of their hair. Good quality long hair was often a symbol of power and honor. Short hair came with ancient Rome and for a period in time, a man having short hair was sort of viewed like hes weak and submissing to the Roman empire. I started growing my hair out just like "why not" but later found a much deeper meaning in it and aim never going to cut it off

A number of people where two braids and all of a sudden it's a cultural characteristic? Some people just lick anybody in the mouth. There is a group of people in America and the men wear all manner of hairstyles and hair lengths. These people were always mentioned by the early explorers, these people are in every level of the administration of this land, these people have the same hairstyles that are drawn on the inside of the pyramids in Mexico, these people are the people who even your people express their culture because it is the true culture of this soil. The southeast is a subtropical place and the pale skin I see on this vide would not do well.

I'm Paiute and Miwok and my daughter had a strong intuition before she had her hair maliciously cut by a member of her fathers family, and when she came back to me she was crying for several days that she can't hear or see things anymore. She just turned 5 and had never had her hair cut until a few months ago.

In 2016 I contracted legionnaires disease and spent a month in the hospital being given harsh antibiotics and medication which caused hair damage. So I cut my hair off so that it could grow back more healthier. After cutting my hair I felt weak, disconnected and imbalanced. I also lost my intuition. My hair has now grown back and is now arm pit length. Since growing back I have regained my balance and intuition. I believe what I experienced is connected to my hair.

I don't even know what would happen in Russia if a teacher cut boy's hair: even touching children is strictly forbidden. Of course our teachers in the European part can be aggerssive sometimes, but cutting someone's hair is something hard to imagine even in my country.

The mom is some disabled related to long-term neglect & abuse on top of being differently-abled. They have several kids. The births almost all were natural, in a home-setting. They all sleep in a family bed. Eat vegan. Very much health-optimizing in exercise, diet, & behaviors. They share bed, baths, & think nothing of appropriate, conservative, natural nudity among themselves, yet are appropriately modest around anyone not in the immediate family. They homeschool, because public schools cannot accommodate special dietary needs, nor do public schools offer common sense education on many things. They are Not religious, yet, are highly ethical, & teach & model that to their kids. All members grow their hair as they see fit….one boy had very long, flaxen hair…many “normals” feel uncomfortable with a male child with such long hair…they can’t tell gender because they are most used to hair styles indicating gender, even in childhood. But the other boy wears theirs short. The dad wears his short, more because he was raised that way, & because short male hair is better for business. Yet, you cannot believe what their families & friends have done to make this family’s lives a living he!!…from specious CPS reports, to landlords thinking he could lech-after the mom. Family, friends & communities have criticized them as terrible, inappropriate, misguided, but all using threatening, ugly language at them, destroying their ability to be in local social groups, churches, etc., destroying the family online, pervasively. THAT destructive, hateful language & defamation has already mentally destroyed the oldest child, & nearly gotten the others taken into foster care…or worse, put into the care of one of the dysfunctional family members who caused the damages to the mother in this family. It’s been epic, the horrific roller-coaster that so-called “Normal”, “Christian”, “compassionate” citizens have perpetrated on any they think are “different”….without ever stopping to consider why, & that maybe, how this family chooses to live & raise responsible, natural humans to be in this world…might be a far better way. There is much more growing hair long, & using amazing styles now, than in the last 100 years. The hippies brought it back some, & “norms” attacking Native hair, & black hair, has hit the news more, which has helped, a lot. But far more is needed, to stop the increasing attacks on our innate Spiritual connections…including long hair. It’s not just about attacks on long hair. It’s very much about the polluted corrupted Agribiz industry, the Pharma/Chem industries, the long-corrupted religions (all of the corporate religions), corrupted education system, blocking use of psychedelic plant medicines used for spiritual progress, & more. All of what society sees as “normal”, now, has been deeply, pervasively corrupted, tiny bit by baby-steps, over time…it’s been done just like how frogs put in a pot of cold water won’t fight to survive as the water gradually heats to boiling…they don’t know somethings wrong until too late. It’s on the vanishing-cliff-edge of too late, right now. The next big step populations worldwide are about to take, is off the cliff into an Orwellian, micromanaged, gray world of humans treated as replaceable cogs for jobs…but no real Life. Those who are awake to it, have a chance to change that very strong outcome, but not for much longer, &, it’s unclear how much change for the better can be done at this late date. But, still important to try.

Unfortunately, the US was so greedy to save possible scientists from Nazis after WW2, they helped many come here. Those ideations have continued, have grown, gathered more members. CULTs are of all kinds. But most important for public to learn (which they failed to do, in the 1970’s), was, how & why Cults form, & how those grow over time. IF everyone knew how to see those coming, see them growing, & recognize the recipe card for growing a cult…there’d be lots less of them. They might also become more mentally stable themselves, for learning better, how psychology works & is applied. The world could be a much more peaceable place.

I can relate. My life is finally steadier. Now I feel like I can grow it out. I also can overcome the historical trauma of my mothers, who were told their hair was ugly. My mother is also starting to grow it long. I wish you the best on your journey.

It is about institutions and people who think it's okay to demand changes to hair to the point of coercing individuals into haircuts administered by teachers, coaches, employers and whoever else thinks it's okay to do that to targeted groups. Native American males have had braids clipped because the braids clashed with someone's concept of how hair should be. Native Americans wear braids to honor elders and for rituals. African Americans wear braids to protect their hair. Curly hair, no matter your race, is drier and more fragile than straight hair.
