The song seems to fit the horse very well. The thunder dynamics captures the horse's strength, good symbolism, there. To me, the song represents not only the horse's strength, but the wisdom of the Native American people.
I close my eyes whilst listening to this and can feel the wind in my hair and all my troubles lift away just like when I'm riding. Horses see into the soul of everyone, I believe this as I have had couple of 'encounters' like it. You never tasted freedom until you've put your trust into the mind of a horse. Peace :)
Hermosas imagenes, no hay palabras, mi espiritu se regocija en ellas y la música tan hermosa, cada golpe de tambor, el sonido de la flauta son un todo para mi bienestar. Gracias Hellen.
Elders Wisdom: Among other things the Great Law of Peace told the tribes to welcome into the longhouse any other tribe that came in peace. It also told them to welcome anyone who sought to trace the roots of peace. It gave a means to make relatives. Where is this being followed today? That was just the first call to bring all the tribes together in a coalition because a single twig snaps but a bundle of twigs can't be broken. Every tribe I know of had making of relatives, ways to treat those who came in peace and so on. We need today a single voice for every tribe, and people. We need today to extend from Pt. Barrow to the tip of S. Turtle Island. We need to speak with one voice for the rights and the treaties that have been forced on us and broken repeatedly by the colonist. We need to work together for peace, social justice, the rights to conduct our own governmental affairs without colonial supervision or colonial theft of our land, resources and children. We need a dance of unity, of empowerment not just for the First Nations nor the Tribes of North America but for all tribes everywhere, including the tribes of Africa, the Gypsies and the hill tribes and minorities of Asia. I am too old to lead this effort, who will step up. Who will say it's time for the women to speak out, for the elders to stand up and for the warriors to do their duty of protecting the weaker members of society by crating a government big enough and strong enough to protect all of them. Not a Representative government ,that is failing even in the U.S. but a confederation that gives the confederacy power to speak for the tribes to other governments and allow the tribes to govern themselves. We need to say to The United States, Canada or any other colonial power including Mexico, honor the Nations within your midst. We need to start making relatives again, so the tribes will not become so diluted that their identity is lost. We need to say we have ways of peace and honor, learn from us. Come become one of us and we will teach you the ways of peace and honor. No more will we do as you the colonial powers say, but the ways of our people shall guide us. Big Tree 5/19/2012-
+m. bugi I don't believe that you have to be born into a certain culture in order to appreciate and respect it. I have no Native American ancestry in me, yet I have always admired the culture of you and yours. I think it's beautiful. Yes, what happened in the past was a tragedy of the highest order, but if both sides continue to dwell on it, then nothing will ever change. I'm not saying that we should forget what happened completely. I'm saying that we should remember the past, but not let history repeat itself. If we can find a way to come together, and go hand in hand, then it would be a very bright future indeed. So, what do you say? I come to you as a friend. Will you walk hand in hand with me?
+Lisa Plambeck You are right. It is in our Native spiritualism, beliefs, and custom to welcome all who share the same concept of peace, unity, and tranquility. In the eyes of the Creator, we are all brothers and sisters from many Nations. Our skin colored bodies belong to Mother Earth, yet our spirits without color belongs to Father Sky the Creator. I'm happy to be your friend.
Thank you for your eloquent wisdom..that I love the Native American's for.. This is the reasons the world is falling apart. ..they let go of WISDOM..RELATIVES..= Disconnection. ....LOSS OF SPIRIT The only Satisfaction = GREED DISHARMONY..DISEASE
Some of the depicted horses almost seem like mighty Cherubim taking off to or descending from Heaven not only because the Natives used to ornate them with the feathers of the winged people! I love the gorgeous visuals along with the powerful music a cosmic dance & a special gift to the RU-vid-tribe - VIELEN DANK from the heart of the Austrian Alps ;-))
defo best horseriders and very skilled with reading their horses souls and working 2gerther has a team i wud love 2 learn the na indian ways with horses and how they ride wud be a dream come true 😊😊😊😊
Native Americans truly did have a special connection with their horses. I think every horseman and horsewoman today should take a leaf out of their book, so to speak.
Dear M.Bugi As we remember and celebrate the American Independence this weekend, we also remember those who need our support. Families displaced by war, communities standing for their inalienable rights, entire cultures struggling to hold onto their land and their homes. Our support begins from within, with prayer and mindful meditation to bring the love from inside to the world outside. We have a model for this... given to us in 1967 and we celebrate it with you today on this weekend of independence... ...starting with a look back at Standing Rock... Free Standing Rock E-Book Standing Rock was about a whole lot more than a pipeline. The historical, cultural context, along with the wisdom and prophecies are valuable to anyone who loves our planet. This free e-book compiled by UNIFY has quotes and interviews from Arvol Looking Horse, Chief Phil Lane, Faith Spotted Eagle, Pua Case and many more. You will be delighted to look at the pictures while embracing the stories that show how Standing Rock was a victory for the people, and a spark igniting a global cross-cultural movement to protect the land, water, and people. P.S. Today, we look back at Standing Rock and the Summer of Love,
I can see why Native Americans wait until their children's personality develops before they name them. They are in tune and attuned to their environment
