Thank you. I appreciate the video. That said, maybe one day sketchup will come out with an update that enables better textures. Maybe some AO, texture cut outs, etc. that are native and not work-arounds.
Just excellent! Just what I was looking for! I have tried to import gradient.png's from google... and the images do not look appropriate as Aaron shows in other videos using gradients to reflect light from a lamp or bulb... Thanks a lot!!
Wow, some negativity in these comments, Personally when I saw Tyson do this I thought is was pretty cool but I'd forgotten how he did it so thanks for the reminder Aaron, nice video as always.
Great video 📹 But, there is a plugin name #Gradientator (in skechucation) who can solve the multicolores problem issue you dont have to screenshot anything just apply some colors and boom😊
I mean, what can I say. The way you did it is creative, getting the shadow from a screencapture, but I could recommend designers just getting their gradients ¨picture¨ from any other source, even creating them through Photoshop or AI for example. The title is a bit misleading, you are not natively creating gradients in Sketchup. I thought there was a tool in colors toolbar that alows you to create gradients.
Jesus christ what a shame He literally screenshoted shade and used it as a texture, nice job He could use sky gradient with ability to literally select two different colours and use it! Sketchup is doomed
