That can't be true as there is no such thing as a non indigenous person. Everyone born on this planet is indigenous. Any other mindset would be definitively NON-inclusive, and really just down right degenerative.
There are hundreds of indigenous tribes and nations across the Americas, and they each have their own culture. "Native American" only refers to the many tribes and nations in the United States, and again, they aren't one culture. This woman is a member of the Emberá people, from Colombia, in South America. She's Native and Indigenous, just not Native American.
She’s stunning ❤❤ I am so sad because so many Native American girls/women go missing and some murdered, never found and investigations into it is sorely lacking 😢 We as a country must start caring and making sure they’re safe!
@@thecharredwitchit's in the eyes mostly. There is the sparkle of a smile at the corners of her eyes and a sense of pride shines as the camera pans around to her face. It's subtle and very quick. Focus on her eyes not her mouth and face tattoos, you should see it then.
Even speaking exclusively from an artistic standpoint, this is refreshingly beautiful. I think the newer generations are forgetting how gorgeous their cultures are. Everything feels metallic and emotionless nowadays.
Oh yeah, this old woman definately needs to teach the youngins about maintaining their culture and traditions. Is she the example of metallic and emotionless that you are speaking of? Ya nitwit
That's bc they hold up witches like the Kardashians and other celebrities as their idols. Everyone wants to be famous on the internet nowadays. Their priorities are really screwed up.
@@maryrodgers2053 Let me explain you a couple of things about their spirituality. The Emberás have rituals through which their spiritual leader would call on the spirits of the animals from the jungle to help the sick or troubled persons from their tribe. Actually, they tattoo themselves according to the spirits of the animals that they are calling upon the sick or troubled person. Of course, the wolf is not among the spirits they name because the wolf is not an animal that live in their jungles. You need to be respectful of other people's beliefs and spiritualities and not to try to impose your ideas upon them. We already have too much of this in the world and although it may not mean anything to you, it will make you look to the people you're talking about as a disrespectful attitude. Last, but not least: If you look at the tattooes in her back you'll find a series of marks with the shape of an X. That's a mark of a viper of the forest, which name is the Bothrops Asper. Also known as the X viper. So, you're telling me that a girl who by her own choice or by the directions of the spiritual leader of her community, chose to call upon herself the spirit of a viper, has the spirit of the wolf...because you say so.
Yeah your right, a beautiful woman that destroyed and desecrated her beautiful face and body with those horrible tattoos! What a shame other Indians don't do this!
I once saw a Native American woman this beautiful going into the grand Canyon national Park, she was a park ranger. She was the only woman that has ever made me absolutely speechless…
I was working in Saudi Arabia in 2015. My family manufactured some wood ceilings and walls for the king abdulaziz center for world culture. I was shopping for gifts for my family and in walks a girl with green eyes and I froze and couldnt move from how beautiful she was.
@kathyharris8331 it's not YOUR song. This song is about empowerment and not meant to serve a specific set of people, meaning it's not exclusive. It is for EVERYONE to feel strength and empowerment from it. However, it's origin is Viking/Nordic
@@i_hateithere I've heard the song. However, this song is meant to provide strength and empowerment to ANYONE. It is originally a Nordic song though. However, it isn't meant for just one specific heritage or people, it is for everyone.
@ph5056 you do realize that the indigenous cultures do not wear wigs or hair peaces right? At least not the ones that come from villages like this beautiful woman. They believe in natural beauty and those tats are not body paint. Please learn the history of cultures before assuming. I highly respect people and their cultures and beliefs because it's their history and the history of their ancestors they are carrying on. Especially in the indigenous culture.
Not me, if there was such a thing as mother nature, she would be natural, no tattoos. However, there is no Mother Nature. there is one God Almighty, Jesus Christ, Creator of heaven and earth.
@@enigma9625That's just the thought of today's mindset and not true I know many American Indians and they refer to the term Indian as their People so stop with this narrative you have no experience with the real world if you follow that mindset

¡Saludos! 🇵🇦🙋🏼♀️🇵🇦👍
