Great stuff. Liquids don’t expand and contract like gases and I’ve seen the same thing with filled to the top cans. PRI is great stuff. I’ve also marked mine with temperature on tape and try to do it at an average temperature at the same time each year. Temps aren’t all that wildly varying here in Central Florida, but have had no issues with cap tightness or spray.

In warm weather and whith air cooled lawn mowers is a good thing to mix some frech gasoline whith the old bulk The engine will run a lot cooler

I have the hard plastic Scepter ones, is there one better then the other?

Fuel goes bad when it goes through too many hot/cold cycles which causes the lighter distillate to gas off which leaves behind the denser solvents that is harder to ignite. To reduce the evaporation it should be stored in a cool storage area in an air tight container (HDPE drums) that allows some expansion to allow pressures to stay lower. Metal drums can't be safely used to store fuel unless vented and this causes the loss of lighter distillates over time and the potential of water contamination seen as rust inside metal containers from condensation.

Just tilt the can back. No spray.
