Thank you Monica for such a great reply! Honestly the replies have become so numerous, I haven't been able to keep up with them. But you are absolutely right about feeling trapped. We feel like a terrible burden has been lifted off of our shoulders being here and we can focus on raising our children...when there is a war going on, the battlefield is not for children. Our parents raised us on this battlefield but they themselves looked at other places to move to, but were unable to find better at the time so they stayed. The world has radically changed since then and the tide is turning, sadly America is not on the right side of it...or even on the better side. It's extremely sad.
