At one point during the interview towards the end, he mentioned that the facial volume that will be increased with the use of Adipeau. I thought it was supposed to help add volume

Did you mean "decreased"? Because, yes, at one point towards the end of the video he mentioned that when he just used it on one cheek for a while and purposely left out the other one, the one he had been using the product on had much less fat because the size had decreased. That's because there were lots of little fat cells instead of the few big fat cells that had been there before. From what I've understood so far, it's the old big-in-volume fat cells that among others can cause collagen to decrease. Many little fat cells seem to be better than fewer big ones.

Ive noticed hyaruloronic acid is now being added 120 mg into protein peptides. Is this advantageous to strengthing and volumizing the skin? Is internally suplementing with HA beneficial to overall health and especially the health of the skin and restoring healthy facial fat?

Exactly. In another interview with him here on RU-vid I heard him say that it works exactly that way: It only fixes the areas that need it.

Maybe I simply want to believe, or I happen to be particularly gullible, but I actually do believe that Ivan is on to something with his facial fat theories. Unfortunately, I can see how Ivan could easily come across as a hoakster and snake oil salesman. He simply doesn't express himself as a well informed person would, especially one who's truly knowledgeable of skincare and/or skin physiology.

Thanks for your comment. I beg to differ, I feel he’s very good at explaining science & anatomy in a layman’s language. I also feel he’s very genuine and personable which is what drew me to him in the first place. Plus the results speak for themselves with my personal experience and seeing that of others. I really feel he’s on to something too with this new information!

You just happen to be a pretty woman with an ample amount of existing facial fat, so your personal experience truly doesn't carry that much weight, since the regular use of most any occlusive moisturizer could easily "plump" your skin. Yes, you're great advertisement, but that isn't necessarily the best proof. Any cream containing high enough amounts of linoleic or oleic acids has the potential of penetrating the skin deeply enough to produce the appearance of plumpness, both these fatty acids also serve as very efficient penetration enhancers thus the possibility of them serving as a vehicle for the black ginger to go deeper into the follicle is definitely sound. So it seems to me that if this product actually works, the real so called "great discovery" would be the ability of black ginger with the aid of a penetration enhancer to possibly affect skin adipogenesis, and not necessarily the fatty acid aspect of the product, since anyone can "paint on" any cream or oil that contains high amounts of linoleic or oleic acids and achieve a skin plumping affect. Ivan himself witnessed this by slathering his face with a simple cottonseed oil preparation. Thus, if truly effective, it is the black ginger extract what is the real "revelation" here, since its proposed action upon the skin really amplifies this concept of dermal "adipocyte fitness" and its possible implications in skin health, something which is pretty much unknown to most dermatological and skincare professionals.

@@Moonhaze-yo6jd yes I agree, the black ginger seems to be the most exciting ingredient. This is why it’s the black ginger he’s used in his body cream, with low amounts of macadamia nut oil instead of the safflower oil. You’re also right, my skin looks plump with my regular cream, I just noticed my lips fill out with his cream. Thanks for your comments it sounds like you know a lot on skincare and adipogenesis already so would love to get your feedback once you’ve had more experience with the cream 🙏🏻

@Moonhaze, My take on it: Ivan Galanin is a true scientist, an authentic and gifted one. With a lot of skill in analytical thinking, reasoning and intuition, plus hands-on experience in the lab. People like that, those blessed true scientists, sometimes aren't the most eloquent (as in, smoothest) talkers. But when they say something, it's as truthful as it gets. I appreciate Ivan's work bunches.
