This was psychologically shaped into us as babies and toddlers in the 80s and 90s. We would hear the tv going in the background while we drifted off to sleep elsewhere in the house or even in the same room. It’s now associated with feelings of safety and comfort as well as memories and is why we come back to it. I came here two years ago to reveal that the loop of commercials we’re hearing in this video is from ABC in Autumn of 1991 based on some of the shows advertised as well as the cars. ): I’ll never be able to experience being a child listening to this feeling ever again, in this body, in this life and at that short period of a moment in time. Something like a 2008 Christmas, falling asleep watching tv, blue hour in the snow. It’s like those small bittersweet memories are the ones we cherish the most, where we felt the most happiest. I will keep it close to my soul forever.

This reminds me of my old childhood apartment in Florida. My mom would be off working until nighttime so my sister and I used to play baseball in the empty lot behind the building and cross our fingers that the ball didn’t end up in the forest nearby. When she got home we’d order pizza and watch tv with her in her room. Those were hard times but something about them was so wholesome I wouldn’t trade them for the world.

Oh man... This just triggered memories of going to sleep as a kid while my parents watched TV downstairs. I could barely hear the what the tv was saying, but the quiet noise was the perfect thing to help me drift off. Such a comforting feeling

I really like this one, but I'd love to see a "Scary movie on late night TV" ambiance, especially for the halloween season. Something like Night of the Living Dead or White Zombie would probably work well.

This reminds me of the only peaceful scene in Misery. Where Paul (James Caan) is lying in bed after one of Annie's tantrums. She storms out of the room , slams the door and turns on the tv in the next room as the rain bounces off the roof and window. Paul looks worrying up at the camera wondering how things are going to play out. I always thought the tv sounds though the wall, coupled with the rain sounds were so peaceful and here we are!

Video would be so much more soothing if i didn't get ads every 10 minutes. do better. Makes no sense to make a video for people to fall asleep to and then spam ads on it. Or at least put the ads later into the video when the person would already be asleep
