Well, natural hair helped me, I met my husband when I had natural hair, on my wedding day I wore my natural hair, happily married with my natural hair and will never perm it or invest in wigs. Oh..and the last thing, it's well taken care of. Since the theme is about hair, let us talk about it. Preach the gospel sis..
My man loves my natural hair so much that one day I asked him if he would have still loved me if I was permed. He said he wouldn't love me less but he would be wishing I was natural. I don't know where the preacher got her ideology from but she's so wrong. Going natural is the best thing that has happened to my hair.
Why would God tell us that we have to change to be loved? This is not God. She shouldnt be on the pulpit. God did not make a mistake in making us the way He did. If a man cannot love you the way you are naturally, then he doesnt love you, period. You want him to be in love with a part of you that doesnt exist? You want people to be carrrying wig pretend to be a white girl? Do it and leave the natural girls alone. Abeg leave this stage. Pulpit is not your calling. May God have mercy on her.
What does the trick is more your attitude than how you look. Looking attractive is good for first impressions. But how you move and treat others is how people know if they'll treat you well or not
@@actuallyjuliee She got married 2009 to Doctor Ivara Esege. A Nigerian British-American medical doctor based in America. They have a daughter and are based in America. She has been married for 14 years.
She's wrong for telling women to - hate/hide their hair, - spend their money on somebody else's hair - and telling all of that at CHURCH OMG🤦🏾♀️ But I agree with her about smiling and being friendly to find someone
God has a husband for every one of his daughter whether natural hair or not. Ladies be yourselves and the man who truly likes you will marry you. Don’t use make up to hold men captive just because when they marry you they can’t get out. That is not good. Marriage is meant to be heaven on earth. Now, don’t make it hell for yourselves. Ladies, let the glory of God in you attract the right man to you. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (PS 139:14)
Naw, the pastor said what she said and meant it. She was 1000% out of pocket with that. Just like you said, if she were to say lighten your skin then reverse it afterward...it would be just as bad or worse. I don't personally like how you tried to defend her...but hey that's your opinion of the situation.
I never was a Christian however growing up in a hardcore Christian household with a pastor as my mom, i was NEVER allowed to wear wigs and braided extensions. Mainly because it was always drilled to me that your hair is your crown, that it's devilish, and that you don't know what energy that hair carries. As an adult, even though i wear wigs and braids on occasion my mom still hates it. So its so crazy see her say that. However if its not the wigs your right about the perms. Which is crazy because after begging my mom at the time to perm my hair she did. It wasn't until middle school that my "church mom" had a talk with my mom to stop permiming my hair cause at the time they claimed that God told them to😒. Personally i don't believe that, i think they realized that i was relying on the perm to feel beautifu and to fit in and in the end, I'm glad that they stop putting the perm. So I can appreciate my natural hair as an adult now.
She is, but, which god?. Who is her god. There are many gods. People are comfortable with other gods instead of honouring the Most High one true Supreme Holy and righteous GOD🌹

She could have said everything she said without the hair issue. Her msg is not wrong it’s just the hair part n I’ve seen ladies with the most beautiful natural hair I admire them .I don’t do well with my own ,it takes to long n I don’t have time like that with four kids to care for .Wear wig if you like ,do natural if you like .Husband is Gods favour ❤
@@doll.ov.poetrii4682 Apostle Paul (the apostle to the gentiles-not Semites) is the only person to say women are to be silent. God of the Old Testament used MANY women & Jesus of the New Testament (whom also built HIS CHURCH ON PETER NOT PAUL; whom said not to bring his gospel to the gentiles…) also used women in ministry. I don’t believe in white Jesus so I don’t follow Paul (the gentile apostle)-so if you’re implying that women should automatically be silent or that women preachers are not biblical-I don’t agree with or believe the same as you.
You wear wig oh abi you carry natural hair, your inner building, character and how much you've allowed the Lord work on you are major determinants of getting found by a good man and keeping a home/marriage.
Weave and bleach skin flicking other peoples hair that will not get you in heaven. That is not your hair when you take it off to sew another one what do you look like when your man touch from the root what does he feel you shouldn’t be a pastor your too vainglorious. Be humble that will get them a husband😊🙏🏿
If only she knew how much men love running their fingers in our hair, playing with it and offering to do our "go to bed with me braids". Shame on you Pastor
