My edges are damaged because of years of braids and weaves. First time ever in 7 months getting hair in a bun properly. 😘😘😘 Check out my latest video, they are back like they never left😍😂
When she said “you can’t just put it all in one because it will be all lumpy and will puff up” finally someone gets my problem and now I will do thank you!!!!!!!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️
Tammie A. I'm Jamaican and I can't tell other Caribbean accents, only my own. I recognize that the accent is from a Caribbean country, but I can't say which island.
I tried this this morning for the first time. Arrived at work like a true diva and girl, the compliments been coming all day. I followed the technique to the T and it turned out beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
Bless your heart. My hair is bra strap length and the shrinkage is insane. I can only get my hair into a pony if it's blown out. Like if you can relate 😫
Recognized that fellow Bahamian accent in a jiffy!!! And I wasn't even listening, had the volume almost off and still our accent came through loud and clear!!!!! Love it!!! Go girl!!!
Girl your video is a God send cuz I been contemplating relaxing my hair even though I've been natural almost 10 years. I have 4a fine hair so it didn't take me as long to do this style but it works and I'm so happy i can get a neat style that doesn't take hours to prep. Thank you thank you 🙌🏾
honey ur ponytail is shapoppin', but when u r trying to get ur edges to grow back it's not the best idea to put ur hair in this style. Mainly because ur edges will be pulling and ur sides will get thinner. the best styles to put ur hair in is like a wash n' go like u said or protective hair styles. These are just some suggestions. 😍😜❤
#November Baby thank you for your kind words and suggestions. It's literally the 2nd time I ever put my hair in a pony since I big chopped in Sept of last year.😩 My edges are damaged from being a weave girl most of my life.
abrildonea once your hair is being pressured especially if it's tight it pulls on your edges and causes breakage. Most protective styles if not done correctly causes breakage
Shardonnay Honey, just because she has her hair pulled back is not the reason edges become missing. Idk who told you that or why you believe it but chill. She doesn't have to use what you told her to because you may use that or for some reason want her using it. Not everyone has thick edges. Hers is just thin. Calm all of that down child!
From the time she opened her mouth I thought wait that's my Bahamian girl! Takes one to know one! LOL kudos on this vid and real 4c hair so this was very helpful to me. Great job! I'm looking forward to the make up, the hair, the make up everything was slaying!!
Loved this tut because my hair is past collar bone length but shrinks to a twa due to three different hair textures in my hair. Going to try this today
Thank your for this!!! Most people who do a sleek bun look on “short 4c hair”....it’s not usually 4c Hair like the description says lol so they methods they use never actually work for me! This might be the only one method that will work for me til my hair gets longer lol thank you!!!
I love this video!! I've always wanted to do a low sleek bun but getting my hair into one has always been a struggle. My hair is about the same length as yours and I absolutely love your technique. Thank you!!
Wow.....I have never (at 45 years old)had a problem with edges & have never had problems with my daughter's either (she's 13 now) I have had no chemicals for 2 years straight now , perm for 4 years prior and natural 4 years prior to that and I have done my own hair for the past 25 years and have been my daughter hair dresser all her life. Teaching her now about what alopecia is and how to apply the right weight of extensions to natural hair for braiding to eliminate breakage. Moisture and less tension keeps breakage down.
Thank you growing up my mom had no clue what to do with my hair because her hair was fine and curly i'm 30 years old and just now learning how to do my type 4c hair thanks to videos like yours I tried this method and it worked beautifully thank you so much
You're a Godsend🙏🏾 Thanks a lot. My natural hair is a tad bit shorter than yours primarily because it's uneven in a lot of spots but I'm sure I can make it work since I know now how to put it together. Thanks mama🙏🏾
OMG I 💓💓💓💓💓 this video. I'm 4c also & never thought bout doing my ponytail like this. I'm finished slicking my hair back so I will definately be doing this next time.
Thanks for having the courage to make this video even with damaged edges. Mine are damaged too and I didn't know if I could achieve this style because of them and you gave me hope. Thanks for sharing! Your hair turned out great!
Kreative Holiness thank you so much ... I'm not gonna be a RU-vidr that acts like my entire life is together lol including edges 🤣🤣💀💀 my only suggestion is doing this at a minimum minimum. Otherwise leave hair alone in like some twists or afro or wash and go or something. To help them come back.
This is the greatest video that I've ever seen! Finally someone that really teaches how to do your own 4c hair versus someone with 3a-4a hair and trying to tell you how to do 4c hair!!! 🙌🏽😭
This video is great! I knew when i clicked that I’d have all the products needed but i didn’t know which ones. Every time you used something else i went back to my closet to grab it lol!
This video is soooo helpful. My hair actually slicked down and it’s thicker than her hair. I tried to do it earlier without these steps and it was a disaster
looka my Bahama mama.. lol shout out... love the vid.. ive realized most bajamian women have 4c hair type..juat in different lengths .. u could imagine te hassle i have having 4c hair down my back.. sighh.. great vid boo keep it up
love love love this not only is $c hair super versatile but this is an excellent protective style that can last up to 2 weeks. It is so nice to see how we 4c girls can lay our beautiful natural tight coil curl down and rock. I LOVE 4 C HAIR that's what I got. TEAM 4 C all day long lol oh, and no HEAT yazzzzzz
So glad to see someone with ACTUAL 4C HAIR!! Thanks because i took out my braids yesterday and today I am washing it 👏🏾. Now I know a protective style to do!!
i just want to say to you and others Thank You!! for"proper" sleek 4c hair buns. thank thank thaaank you. i don't wanna mention how most others would look(sigh)
Holy crap😍😍 If you slaaaay one more time we'll all be dead💀 This is the first I've ever seen such an AWWMAZING, sleek finish on short 4c hair... You make me believe anything is possible😢 And for that I honer you... A NEW SUBBIE RIGHG HERE😊😊💕💕
I like her accent. also I like to see how products work on 4c to see if it would work on my hair I have 3c but my edges are really full and thick so sometimes products wont work. I think I probably want doing it right applying I mean
