I feel you when it comes to changing your hair after twist out. As much as I want try different hairstyles I hate messing up my perfect twist out to do so! Also I feel like I'm one the few black girlies out here who don't like gel either...😭

I finally feel so seen! I don't slick my hair for the same reason even when it's straightened. I just know there's always a chance I might wear it differently the next day, especially depending on how much time I have while getting ready or my mood. Once that gel is there, it's there and gotta be washed out
I absolutely love all of the hairstyles, and you look so pretty with every single one❤ Sidenote about slick backs, a lot of people don’t realize that pulling your hair back into a ponytail or bun all the time can also loosen or damage your curl pattern. Also for me, the top of my hair became thin. I did a big chop and I’ve been growing my hair back now for a year and a half , and I only wear ponytails ever so often like once in a blue moon. I will wear a loose pineapple where I only have to brush the outer perimeters. I miss good hair, content and I’m glad I came across your page.
