I just got results back for a methane dominant sibo and I have been binging your videos. Thank you so much for creating so much specific content on this condition! I feel so ill. I am having a sibo test tomorrow and have acid reflux ith a hernia and have acid comes up. My tummy looks pregnant. Diarrhea and burping and gas. I feel awful

I have read that fasting does help, but you may need things for improving gut motility.

Hi, very good information. I’m concerned taking herbs for my hydrogen and methane Sibo as I have Gilbert’s syndrome, would I be better taking Rifaximin for the hydrogen aspect? I’m in a quandary about this. Thank you 🙂

After getting one's SIBO symptoms under control, could I replace the breakdowns with proactive 1 week fasts? -- perhaps every Spring and Fall , when diet shifts from winter foods to summer foods. I hypothesize that it may be an equally effective way to reduce SIBO relapses/symptoms? The twice a year fasts would kill of any bad bugs that may or may not be creeping in. (maybe fast with juice that feeds patient but not bad bacteria, thereby starving any overgrowth? ) and of course the naturopath must guide the fast for an additional week while returing to foods. Do you think a naturopath would work with me to design that? (one in my area). It is a question I keep having. thanks!

It can mess with so many body functions. Whatever you try to alleviate your symptoms, exercise! Get up and move, even just walks can help so much. They helped me so much.

I lost my appendix at least 4 years ago and I have been on healthy Keto which involves dark leafy greens, I had gotten complacent with perfect keto and then I've had a bout with high nerves over this past year. Now, I have Sibo with bad skin issues on my body itching and redness accompanied with numbness. I am a 60-year-old woman. As a side note, I use coconut oil daily. Should I stop? Thank you.

First thing I did was start searching. Turns out that some are available to practitioners only and you need a prescription. I did find this: store.nuvisionhealthcenter.com/products/3-bactrex

I have more info. The Bactrex has helped me but didn’t finish it off. I can’t get Bactocand GI here in the US without a prescription but I can buy all its components separately and they are working. Page 2 of the pdf in the link below shows the active ingredients. I sourced the active ingredients via NOW Foods brand supplements: Andrographis extract, Relora(tm), and Candida Support. All are over the counter, no prescription. I just take them as recommended on the bottles (also still taking Bactrex). It’s been 5 or 6 days and I’m noticing a huge positive change. Good luck! (Edit: P.S.- I didn’t actually find any anise oil yet and it’s not in those supplements either.
