That’s some lovely looking water right there! Must feel so good to be able to relax and get some fresh air and take a swim get away from the stresses of life!
Gorgeous! It would be great if you would include the dimensions of the main body of the ponds in the description so we have a better understanding....I'm personally interested in knowing the w/l/depth and the difference between the dugout dimensions vs. the interior dimensions once the rocks are in to better grasp how much room there is to swim, or for fish if it's not a recreation pond.
Excellent pool. Very natural and smart run off management. Wish I had a few more clients willing to commit to theses systems. Well done and thanks for posting.
The pond guy is the bedt if its the as the pond guy that seels the supplies i get every thing for my pond from him down the the last grain of food and never have a problem beautiful pond also
Platies and Swordtails are a great choice for a pond like this as they'll reproduce readily and help keep algae at bay. In aquariums, they are known to be great algae eaters. What waste they do produce will just get sucked up by the plants.
The only thing we lack in Australia is a bill of rights like you US citizens. Our government acts more like people controllers rather than serve the people if we had freedom rights in our constitution.
Do you still build ponds yourself. It's cool that your business has grown enough to let you reorient your channel like this. I've been subscribed since you were The Pond Whisperer.
Beautiful house beautiful pond surrounded with nature 🏞️⛲🏡 I love it. 😅If I will to stay in this house, I will definitely keep chicken🐔🐓, 🦆duck, 🦃 , birds 🐦 n plants fruits🍒🍎🍇🍓 n vegetable🥒🥬🌽🥦🍆 n beautiful flowers🌼🌸💕😅.
@@GregWittstockThePondGuyThank you for that. Followed the link & found out there’s two affiliate businesses here in Western Australia who do living ponds. 👍
I left NZ in my 20's for this reason, and i'm sure Scotland would be much worse than NZ lol. Just move bro, life is too short to live in shit weather all the time
How do you keep slimy algae from coating all of the stones underwater. That would create dangerous slippery conditions for anyone walking in the pond, especially on the large stone ledges/benches around the perimeter. I think this is one of the most important aspects and hinderances to building a non-chlorine swimming pond, yet you make no mention of this problem.
Absolutely divine ! Did you get humbugged by the council re fencing around the pond ? In WA we have annoying strict rules and protocols . Cheers, its beautifully done ...
This is gorgeous ... but how the hell did they get approval without a fence around it? I neeeeeeed to know! Here in Aus you have to have a fence around the pool (seperate to the back door), and it is the bane of many architectural design!
getting ready myself to start building a similar pond next year , but man... I wish I could populate it with fish like platies or swordtails/guppies fish like that , but here winter ruins everything sadly.. I'll have to use cold water fish I guess
