Hi I wanted to know if you knew of any online stores/companies that could purchase Almond and berry wax from that ship to the U.S? I know you've provided alternative instructions, but I would like to have the waxes in general
If you want to incorporate colour of beetroot powder then you take a cotton cloth, put powder in it and tie it up to make sure it can't come out. When you are heating oils up just put the tied cloth in it like you would put tea bag in water and viola you'll have the colour of beet. Although on lips it'd transparent too
I made this lip gloss today. I made 1 clear and 3 tinted. Spearmint essential oil. I love them. I love the texture. I will never buy another lip gloss. Thank you so much Elise. I will be making more of your stuff. ❤️
Haven’t done this myself, but maybe you could try infusing the oils with the beetroot powder for a of couple days before preparing it so that the colour infuses the oils, and then strain the mixture so in the end it’s not a grainy texture. It’s a technique used in soap making and I think it could work 🤷🏻♀️ anyways, lovely recipe 💜
Thank you so much for sharing this. I also make my own glosses. I use shea butter wax, coconut oil, jojoba oil, olive oil, and vitamine E? I also use aloe vera. And the mica powder for color
You are a beautiful young lady and I loved this video! ❤ Question: why not try Hibiscus powder? The colors kind of range from subtle to bright and it should dissolve better than the beet root powder. Keep up the good work! 👍
I have been practicing my natural lipgloss for my small business and I love the beet root powrder. I always make that color before the clear so I have a few more seconds to mix in the beet root powder. I’m a new subscriber and already a fan of your videos.
I'm watching again because after watching at least half a dozen recipes, I like yours the best! Where can I buy almond wax? I did not get good results on Amazon. Also, what other natural colorants would you suggest? Idk what to search for.
First of all, i just wanna say that i love your content.. thank you for making these videos 🥰✨. I wanted to comment on the beetroot issue.. i think could put it in a stone pestle and mortar and grind it into a fine powder before adding it to the oil.. that would help it to be alot smoother. Im definitely gonna try these recipes ☺️🩷
The video looks fresh and calm, due to various aspects such as the white background and plants, the tone of her voice and articulation, the position of the film shots.
Out of curiosity, do you think you could use cocoa butter or mango butter or something like that in place of the almond wax? If so, would you change the ratio or the measurement of the ingredients at all?
I'm going to try this but when I try to color with beetroot powder I mix it in with an oil. So that is what I think will get a better result. Cannot wait to try! Love your videos!!
Just watched your video, like it very much, i like the way explained detail of the ingredients, seems very easy to follow, just ask a question, how long it last (expired) for the lip balm and lotion ? Thank u very much
Since the wax had to be melted beforehand doesn't it solidify again in the tube? Have you had any problems with anything separating in the tube over time?
I love all recepies of yours and it works great♥️. May i know the shelflife for natural lip gloss coz I like to make and sell it for my small business.
Ok so just an idea..I love the look of my lips after eating cherries/blackberries so I wonder if there's a way to incorporate that? Maybe their oils or if they sell that in powder form? Would also taste good
Amazing woman But why did you use almond wax? I want to know if it is unique ?or it is like other waxes And candellila wax..is it different than bees ??
Thank you for sharing! Also, I’m in the US and acquiring almond wax hasn’t been easy. Can we substitute with another wax? Love ❤️ Sekhmet SapphyreSun❤️😻🙏🏾
Hi, Elise just wondering if including gylisren into the formula will help with giving that slightly sticky feeling of a lip gloss. If so what should the amount be?
Would I be able to remove almond oil from the recipe, and generally use other oils and ingredients that aren't water-based, such as avocado oil? Or maybe glycerin? Thank you in advance! :)
Absolutely! You can substitute almond oil for your preferred oil. This is an anhydrous (no water) recipe so it's probably easier to start from scratch rather than adjusting this recipe, but if you wanted to include glycerine you need to add emulsifiers & preservatives. 😊
This tutorial is absolutely amazing! ❤ You're such a sweet person :) For the coloring wouldn't food coloring maybe be able to be used? It might tint the lip gloss more hahah 😂 but don't quote me on that
I didn’t use this exact recipe but I do use the ingredients (with the substitution of beeswax) my lip gloss came out to be lip balm. How can I prevent that?
Love your content! Was wondering if the almond butter can be substituted with any other butter? And which you would recommend to keep the same texture. Thanks!!
Hi can I use coconut oil instead of almond oil? For coloring, can I use Gel food coloring?.... I would appreciate if you response to my question... thanks for the video
I decided to tweak and use Castor oil and vegetable glycerin (to make it thicker). Do I need to add a preservative when I'm not adding water directly? 3 parts castor oil, 1 part vegetable glycerin, 1 part wax
I have infused hibiscus into glycerine and the color is gorgeous and intense but I don't know a lot about the whole formulation puzzle. It may be worth trying though. I want to see if it infuses into oil.
