I think I know why those grunions spawn on the shore. They always go back to the same spawning ground, which is now on the shore, but 300, 000 years ago the sea levels were much higher so the spawning ground would be under water. After all, through most of the earth's history, the climate was much warmer so sea levels would have been much higher. Our temperate climate is an abberation that is only because we just recently (12,000 years ago) came out from an Ice age, when the norm seems to have been ice in antarctica only.

I have heard that hum before,it hasn't happened in a few years but a couple years back it was so annoying,I would always be outside playing with my dogs and that hum became such an annoyance,it was the hum of fighter jets without afterburners, but it never stopped; with an airplane it only lasts a couple of seconds and slowly drives away but this was constant all day everyday you could hear it inside with the TV on and it is

The info on the dragon tree is wrong as they are also comon in the Madeira (Portugal) and the Canaries (Spain) archipelagos, in the Atlantic, off the coast of Morroco.

There is pressure on the rocks. There is lots of crystals being formed by the pressure. In places the quarts content is high and helps to create voltage. And the lights come on.

Great Content. One thing that is not correct as you mention the Dragon tree can only be found in a Yemen. It can also be found in Tenerife the famous Dragon tree in Icod de Los Viños.....

I'm surprised they didn't say human trash changed the color of Jupiter's storm. They try saying trash clogged under Yellowstone and changed the color of a hot spring. As water isn't taken down but comes up and is very acidic full of way more than humans can effect.....

I live in Southern California and have experienced several earthquakes. We had no small quakes before the ones I've experienced. It would be a jolt and it was over. Never experienced after quakes either.

This from the news on Aug 20th, 2023: "VENTURA COUNTY, Calif. - A preliminary 5.1-magnitude earthquake was reported in Ventura County Sunday afternoon - and then followed by about a dozen shocks. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the earthquake happened around 2:41 p.m. with a magnitude of 5.1. The quake was reported about 4.3 miles southeast of Ojai with about 9 miles in depth. Seconds after the earthquake, at least 17 aftershocks were reported - all centered around Ojai. Its preliminary magnitudes were reported between 2.5 to 3.9." You might not be feeling them but they are definitely happening.

@@vanhattfield8292 not feeling them is true. The worst one I felt happened near the Mexican border. That's not far away from where I was living at the time. It hit hard and shook for awhile. It was a roller type and not a lifting sensation.

The low frequency hums, and there is one in Michigan's upper peninsula, are the Extremely Low Frequency (ELF) system the US navy uses to communicate with i's submarines. The lower a frequency is the more impossible it is to locate the source (IE - find a submerged sub) and only a limited percentage of people in the upper peninsula can detect it. Notice most places that have the hum are on the ocean or as in Michigan, a navy communication relay center. Hums that appear and leave for a time are traveling submarines.

If they think California is so safe why is it homeowners insurance companies are moving out of California maybe we can understand why just regular Insurance on businesses would pull out because they're allowing everybody to rub these businesses so there's more claims going through these insurance companies but that doesn't explain homeowners insurance
