White Vinegar will remove the mineral stains on the glass. If cleaned regularly at every water change with white vinegar you'll never get mineral water stains on your glass. Wait for the white vinegar to evaporate (happens quickly) before refilling. Don't spill it in the aquarium water.

Also, I for one would love to see you use some more rare plants!

Hi George I have sand substrate and my Cory catfish are digging up my newly planted approx 3 weeks eleocharis acicularis mini I down sized form a 180 litre to 59litre and I'm using the sand I've got what advice would you give please help:(

Hi George this is Peter, from Singapore. Apologies for the time difference. Lately I've been so fascinated by planted tanks and intend to try out it out. Could kindly advise if I were to start out with a 30cm cube tank what are the things I need to be successful? 1) Tank 30cm cube thick ideal? 2) What are the basic minimum layer/s of Substrate/aqua soil/ gravels I need for the tank to start planting. 3) Inted to use co2 but very basic Ista or Tropica disposable types. 4) What type of Led would you recommend and hang on back filter good enough. Think I've asked too many questions. So will stop here for now. Appreciate your valuable time. Hear from you. Thanks and Regards.
