Celestial sounds out of that Tele! I love how its appearance is so fantastically at odds with the lyrical vibe of "Nature Boy." Beautiful playing on a gorgeous guitar.
Beautiful tone and playing, really nice! This reminds me a bit of Manuel Galban, one of my all time favorites. It's a real please to hear people actually play a piece of music, instead of just licks and noodling. Bravo!!
I have been following TK Smith's website for quite a while. I never knew he was on YT! Great stuff in gear and playing! I just wish I could afford a TK Smith guitar or gear. I build my own but I always have his concepts in mind.
Five stars! I've been playing this classic tune for several years now, on my Tele and my Gibson ES175. I have never seen or heard anyone do it on a Tele with a Bigsby. I'm so inspired by your playing and the way you use the bar, that I need to seriously explore this myself.
Man, that's beautiful. That melody never gets old, especially when it's played with such sensitivity. That tone is marvellous. How would you even describe it? I just keep coming back to as smooth and warm as the smoked glass chimney of a kerosene lamp. Also, on a totally unrelated note, you've got some really cool furniture in your pad there. You have so many cool pieces but I'm really in love with that clock you have on the wall behind you there. Cheers.
I’m obsessed with this video. As a guitar builder by trade, a fan of all things tiki, mid century, exotica, etc, and a guitar player, this video features so much that excites me. A beautiful arrangement, excellent playing, and a gorgeous tone between your guitar and that amp. I actually just purchased the tab from your site. I’m curious about the guitar and the settings. I don’t see a switch but what appears to be a simple switch cover. Are the pickups wired to each just have a volume knob to blend them together?
