I just sketched some flowers in the plant section of a grocery store. I also wonder around my block searching for stuff. Especially like to find fungi and lichen on trees.

I agree!! No need to travel. I journal in my backyard and even indoors while looking out the window. We love to watch different species of birds appear from our front window.

such a great comment, "a nature journalist in the wild!" I met an art journaler on a cruise ship once. I live in southern Oregon, there is a group in Asland/Medford, but that is 2 hours away from me. I wish there was a closer group I would love to journal/hike with a group.

Wow that is great! It sounds like there will be a nature journal club starting up there. Dang you are a prolific junk journaler and youtuber! I am mostly a nature journaler but I do try to incorporate some junk journaling techniques. Maybe I should interview you about junk journaling sometime!
