That outro with Claire De Lune really gave me goosebumps dude, it’s such a fitting song for the mystique and beauty of it, the raw emotion and beauty the Northern Lights has. These videos are criminally underrated, they deserve just as many views as your others.
Grew up with theses. So many mornings while waiting for the school bus. Later in life, on many morning commutes to work. Always was in awe. Moved away in 1999
I grew up in Fairbanks, Alaska, and would see these every winter. When I was little, I thought they were normal things to see, that they were everywhere. I definitely miss seeing them now that I've moved away. This video was beautiful, and I agree, the science behind the Auroras is interesting, but it just makes them more magical.
Man one after another it just keeps getting better. This one left me with chills! Outstanding work Aidin. You might have just made me buy a ticket to Iceland haha
This is absolutely beautiful man. I have mad respect for the amount of effort that goes into your videos. The graphics, research, writing, all top notch man.
Really great footage of the Aurora. Speaking as someone who’s tried several times, and I have a lot of access to them, living in Northern Canada, I’ve never been able to catch it on film like you have. Very well done. Most even have a tough time with a camera as you need to have the aperture open fairly wide and long to really capture it. That must have been very special for you to be able to be there and see it, let alone capture it and share it with us
great vid! As a pro aurora chaser/photographer in Alaska, I appreciate your story behind them! For anyone chasing the aurora, the most IMPORTANT number to look at in aurora data is the bZ. The more negative (-)bZ the better the chance of seeing them. (i.e -4 bZ is decent depending how far north you are, -14bZ is REALLY good)
Damn.... Aidin 😍 you just nailed it🔥🔥🔥🔥 Truly you're a master at your skills that grading + story telling 🤩 if i had a chance i would love to meet you atleast once in my life Love from India and Big fan bro...♥️
Just in Iceland and saw the lights but they aren't what most people are led to believe. It is because of the photos and videos showing these saturated green lights most people even though looking straight at them don't see them. It depends on whether there is enough light to activate the cones in your eyes which is how we see color. At night we see using the rods which don't see color. So on a dark night the lights would appear to be just white light unless it was a particularly brilliant light display. Cameras and cellphones of course pickup the color so people are often surprised by the photos showing the shimmering green lights.
Absolutely amazing, Aidin! The aurorae are the most incredible phenomenons of nature, and the views, the narration, and the music of the video blended so perfectly (especially the Debussy at the end).
I really hope that sometime soon I can travel to Iceland to see this incredible sight with my own eyes. In the meantime, this is a beautiful capture of it! Your graphics for this video are on a whole other level too! Great job!
Literally get so excited to learn something new every time you upload. It's so inspiring seeing you go from making the most of your home surroundings in NC and now traveling the world.
Thank you for making me feel a part of this magical journey with you of the auroras ! With this video ! What can’t you do ? Lol definitely on my bucket list
Beautiful video Aidin!! Loved the cinematic storytelling, as well as, the amazing animated visuals to go along with your explanation. Your videos just keep getting better and better. Love all the content you make! :) Might have to book a trip to Iceland now!!
This was a great watch Aidin 👌🏼 the Aurora is something I really want to see in person sometime soon. Loved the video and sorry telling in this man. 🤙🏼
Beautiful job Aidin! When you say that studying science would ruin the mythical side of auroras, remember that is our western rational way of viewing the world, to see it in binary. The world wasn't viewed like this when the myths were written, they were what we call today metaphysical concepts divided into different layers of being. That is the physical, spiritual and the universal "god". When we adapted christianity in Europe we adapted god as the holy trinity, which made perfect sence then - but not as much today when we only seek to understand the physical side. There are many things we don't understand. The myths are sometimes tens of thousands of years old. Keep being curious! Greetings from Sweden.
It was really a great video. The northern lights are one of the things I want to see the most. I hope one day I will have the opportunity to go too. By the way, your videos are really good quality. For this, you should shoot a training video on Udemy.
Man this was epic! I have been hooked throughout. I also wanna be a filmmaker and you are really my inspiration. I haven't known anyone that puts so much effort in their videos. Love you @AidinRobbins
