great ideas.....resin is bubbly, there is not getting around it and there is no way to get rid of every bubble...and it's not a failure to have bubbles, I like when a few bubbles show up, it makes the project real and unique...your work is awesome 😍

Hi, to avoid bubbles, heat gently by passing over with a flame from a small blowtorch hotter than what you had for a longer period than what you did (like you would use for cooking). For epoxy resin.

Thank you. In normal circumstances I would agree but as I was working with wood I was trying not to scorch it.

I can see making christmas ornaments. if you could get some to cut thicker slices of wood you could make a scene inside. A christmas scene or a fairy scene the options are endless. I love your channel and your outside the box ideas!

Everything you create has a touch of elegance Louise. I liked each piece you made but I especially like the ones you made for your keys. I couldn't help but notice the darling cups with spoons on the tray. I'd love to get my hands on something like them. As always thank you for sharing your creative processes.🥰

I am wanting to do something similar to this for a upcoming art project but the difference with my idea to this one is that I want to use pressed flowers stuck onto sanded wood rounds, and then pour the resin over the top to seal it. Is this a good idea or could there be another way to do it? I also wanted to paint some of them then pour resin over the top.
@LouiseSingletonCreations
@LouiseSingletonCreations Год назад
I think it is a great idea. I’m thinking if you coat the wood surface with pva then put the flowers on and allow it to completely dry before adding resin it will work nicely. If there are any bits on the pressed flowers that won’t lie flat you could lay a silicone sheet over the top and place something heavy on the top whilst the glue dries.

Why would you not use uv resin for the whole project? Is there a reason it wouldn't work?
