Hello everyone. Today we are looking at the Naturehike Cloud up 1 tent. This is a budget (sub £100/$100) tent that I've been using for almost two years. I'm finally ready to give you my honest opinions after it's long term use (I purchased this with my own money!). In this video I go through how to set this tent up, it's facts and figures and any pros and cons I've discovered over time. I hope you find this video useful.

Nice review! I bought this tent in forest green a few months ago. Love it! Have had a few really nice camps on the Gower Peninsula with it. It's fine for me at 5' 11". Cheers and Merry Christmas! J.

I've had mine for about 3 years now and I've been using it on my bike packing trips and absolutely no problems with it. I've not used it in winter only in the warmer seasons. Though it does feel like a bit of a cocoon and I'm thinking of getting a side opening tent instead some day.

I'm glad you've had a good experience with this tent. For the price, it's definitely a winner. Being a cocoon is quite nice sometimes, but yes I get the need for a tent with a side door. Over the years I'm happy to carry a little more weight in order to have a little more comfort. Have a great day and all the best 😊👍🏼⛺️

I got this used off mercari for pretty cheap, it works. Was a champ in the oregon rain and wind. Good tent for the price

really like your review! Is the type of tent you are using 210T polyester? What do you think about its durability compared to the 20d type? To be honest, because of the small price difference, I was unsure which one to take.

Thank you, I’m happy you liked it 😊👍🏼 As I said to another viewer, there are pros and cons for both. The 20D version is usually a little more expensive but is more waterproof and lighter than the 210T version. However, the 210T will stretch less and require less adjustments (especially at first when it gets wet). I initially bought the 210T due to the price and I’ve had no issue. As far as durability, the 210T material is slightly thicker, but I’d say there’s not much in it. If price wasn’t an issue I would go for the 20D version. I hope that helps 😊👍🏼🏕️

Congratulations on the review. He talked about important points such as the zipper being too far to open and having to leave the tent. I just bought one. Do you find it uncomfortable to enter and leave the tent? Frm Brazil 🔰

Thank you very much 😊🙏🏼 Yes it is a little awkward to get in and out of the tent, unless you are quite flexible. However, it’s a great tent and the zipper distance is my only issue. I hope you’ll have many fun camps in your tent. Best wishes from Greece 😊🏕️👍🏼

I paid £118. It is a very good spec for that price, very light and dead easy to put up and roomy inside too ( I'm 5'11). If I could improve it I'd add an extra loop on the main spine at the back to improve height at the back ( which I actually did) and id have more solid material in the inner ...it's a bit drafty in cold weather. It's an inner first pitch which is rubbish if its raining but otherwise I love this tent.

Yep I agree, a little more height at the back would be great. It is a great tent, but yes only really a 3-season tent. Maybe if it had a snow skirt like on the Cloud up 2 it would be better in winter. All the best and merry Christmas 🏕️😊🎅🏽👍🏼

Nice cid, tie some cord to the zip and pull it inwards when you close up for the night. Might solve that issue :)

I noticed on Amazon there’s a 210T polyester and a 20D nylon version of this tent. Any idea which is better?

There are pros and cons for both. Both make very good tents and I prefer these materials to the now trendy silicone coated tents. The 20D version is usually a little more expensive but is more waterproof and lighter than the 210T version. However, the 210T will stretch less and require less adjustments (especially at first when it gets wet). I initially bought the 210T due to the price and I’ve had no issue. But…. If price wasn’t the issue I would have gone for the 20D version. I hope that helps. 😊👍🏼⛺️

How does it compare with the Cloud up 2?

It’s basically just smaller. The materials, quality, ease of pitch and use are the same. For me, as a taller person, the Cloud up 2 is more comfortable, as there is more usable space inside. I hope that helps 😊👍🏼🏕️

Looks a great tent in honesty I quite like I'm thinking of getting this now as my tent is getting tatty I'd prefer not to use it for even 1 more camp out! 😂 thanks for video buddy ❤😊. Yeah it is a great tent. I’d get the Cloud up 2 if I was going to purchase again though. Similar price, more room and not much heavier. I know what you mean. In the past I’ve camped in tents with visible holes in it 😬 Cheers mate, glad you liked it. Yes I’ve played guitar for quite a while and sing, also learning the drums. This channel used to be just for my music, but it never got any attention, so 2 years ago I took down the music and changed the channel to what it is now. The outro music is always mine and sometimes I’ve had bits and pieces of my stuff in vids (including stuff I’ve mixed). All the best and have a fantastic Christmas 🎅🏽🎄👍🏼✊🏼

What about heavy rains? Is it good sealed?

I’ve never had any problems with it leaking in the rain. Although I’ve never had it in heavy rain (only light-medium rain). Yes it is seam sealed. I hope that helps 😊👍🏼🏕️
