Full Naturium review to coincide with their global launch in partnership with SpaceNK - What products are worth buying from Naturium by Susan Yara.
Hey guys and welcome back to Mad About Skin where in todays video we are talking Naturium Skincare in time for it to launch internationally through SpaceNK. What are the best Naturium products and which would be the best for your skincare routine.
Naturium is the brainchild of Sunan Yara, one of the original skincare RU-vidrs and someone who had a huge following. Owing to the launch scandal the brand got off to a damaged start but seems to have worked its way back from failure to be a popular brand which is sold in a number of stores and online.
In this video we take a look at the products which are to be included in the naturium International launch and which are worth including in your skincare routine and which are total fails.
I have always been transparent with my views on Naturium which have changed over time. having decided not to shop with the brand owing to the launch I have tried over time some of their products and been impressed with the formulations so with them coming to to UK I will try out some of the product offerings and let you guys know my thoughts. I would encourage everyone to make their own mind up when it comes to this and I hope this video serves as an unbiased representation of the formulations and products.
I would love to know what your thoughts are on Naturium and any of the products you have tried from them.
If you enjoyed this video please consider giving it a thumbs up and a like to let me know.

Well contrary to the mounds of hate in the comments, I love the brand. I haven't tried a single product that I didn't enjoy from Naturium (and I've tried a good amount). The price points for what you get are amazing and the formulas feel luxurious. I don't really care about the launch of the brand (and frankly I think it's blown WAY out of proportion) and I won't let it dissuade me from purchasing products that work well for me. That's what I care about--I don't buy the brand to support Susan, I buy it because I like the products and price points.

the launch was shady but I knew nothing about it or her until about 6 months to a year later when I saw the products in Target. As I have said before in the end the only thing I care about is the products...do they work, do they do what they claim to do, and they are cruelty free, etc. I highly recommend trying the body washes if you have not done yet. They are really good and a great price for the huge amt. you get.

My favorite Naturium products for my acne-prone, super oily skin are: - Azelaic Topical Acid 10% (I can't use pure Azelaic Acid so this is the product I've found with the highest percentage of the gentler PAD derivative) - Glow Getter Multi-Oil Body Wash (It smells divine, and is a moisturizing oil-gel without being greasy, sticky, heavy, or pore-clogging) Honestly, despite the controversy, I haven't tried a single bad Naturium product so far. If I was disappointed at all, it was only because it wasn't the right fit for my personal skin type. (For example, the Mandelic Acid was lovely but way too weak for my resilient oily skin.)

I recently purchased the Azelaic Topical Acid 10% and I'm loving it so far! I love that it contains glycinated azelaic acid, vitamin c, niacinamide, and coffee seed extract. It has allowed me to streamline my morning routine. I am planning on picking up the Sulphur Acne treatment on your recommendation as well!

Thank You for this information. I love the brand since I began using several months ago. I have been a Sunday Riley gal for several years but have been seeking similar or better results from and less expensive price point, inflation being the operative driver! I landed on Naturium and have been so happy, slowly making the switch. I started watching all of Susan Yara's video's and following on social media, learning a great about the brand, it's formulations and philosophy which are all important to me. I began with the body washes, body cream, and body retinol cream. Loved them all, then went to the 10% Glycolic. It has been a total game changer speeding up the transformation, reduction in wrinkles along with the other things I do, and improved texture. On bottle 2, going strong. I also had the 2% BHA, love it, the Nicinamide Serum 12%, Multipeptide serum, Vitamin C Eye Cream Plus, Marula Oil (organic) and the Dew Glow Moisturizer SPF 50 (totally love one). Thanks to your review I will be adding the Vitamin C, the Azelic Acid (after I finish the one by the Ordinary), and maybe the retinaldehyde. I alternate prescription Retin-A with the new Ordinary .2% emulsion which is also amazing. Sorry so long winded, I really appreciated your video today. I do love Susan Yara!

I can't wait for the rest of the world to experience the Naturium brand. I've grown to love a lot of it. Wait until you try the body washes and lotion. I currently have the Glow Getter and Multi-vitamin washes on reserve in my closet. My husband is a huge fan of the VC serum that I introduced him to (I'm now hooked on both Timeless and DRMTLGY) and, I'm all for the Alpha Arbutin essence becasue my Mocha Choca-la-ta skin SINGS in hyperpigmentation. xoxo

I use naturium a lot now and Joe’s tky the controversy is not that big of a deal to me. My holy grails are their body care! I have dry sensitive skin and I can tell you it’s the o my body wash I can use regularly without damaging my skin! I even tried necessaire and it still dries me out! So for me the multi peptide cream, retinol serum, and vitamin c are good… but I can’t live without the glow getter body wash and the body lotion 🧴

The Plant Ceramide Moisture Cream is absolutely one of the best products in the line. If you have dry skin, it’s a game changer. Other standouts are the Multi-Bright Treatment, Fermented Camellia Cleansing Oil, BHA Liquid Exfoliant, and the Vitamin C Serum.

Just about my entire routine day and night are naturium. They just seem to work for my key foundation staples. Vitamin c, azalaic acid, the hydration bodywash, tranexamic acid with kojic acid and peptide moisturizer. And on occasion the ceramide moisturizer. I so want to try the retinalahyde. Dermatica seem to have hit a stall in seeing results. I may need to switch to something different.

The TA & AA multi active serum seem to be worth trying. I went ahead and got the Sulphur spot treatment, and it's better than an acne patch! I've been super impressed with it, and it's caused me to want to try another product. I do have issues with the launch, but I also feel like that's been a while ago, so giving the brand a second chance with serums that are pretty unique at an accessible price point seems fair.

I agree. I did not know about her when this all happened because I don't follow her or knew who she was until after I purchased some products. Honestly, yes how she launched the brand was shady but at the end of the day all I care about is the products and how/if they work do what they claim to do and that they are cruelty free. If you have not tried them yet I highly recommend the body washes.

I bought all of the body washes because I couldn’t resist the price point and I thought they all offered something unique. I would definitely re-purchase the oil based one because it made my dry skin feel as though I’ve stepped out of the shower already moisturized. I also like the niacinamide facial cleanser. It’s nothing too special but it’s also got a nice foam and doesn’t seem to strip my skin. The peptide moisturizer with vitamin C and the peptide eye cream are both very nice on my dry skin as well.
@cherylreitz4779
@cherylreitz4779 Год назад
yes the body washes are really good I have tried a few of them. I am using the Vit. C one right now. Also love that niacinamide facial cleanser. You can even use the body wash for a facial cleanser which I have been doing. You can't beat the price for the body washes. $13-15 dollars for a huge container. They last me about 4 months or so since I dont need to use much.

The first serum I ever purchased was the naturium niacinamide serum, so this brand is a bit nostalgic for me! I no longer use that one because I find niacinamide is in most of my products anyway, but I currently use the azelaic acid emulsion and the salicylic acid body wash and will definitely be repurchasing. The only product from them I didn't really care for was the marshmallow root barrier cream - expected it to be a good slugging alternative but it wasn't very moisturizing and pilled with my regular serums and moisturizer.
@claudiabastante5520
@claudiabastante5520 Год назад
Hi! Great video. I like the niacinamide gel cream as a cruelty-free option for the Aveeno Oat gel moisturiser in terms of consistency. Both are very similar. The Naturium one works great for my oily skin in summer. I like the Fermented Camellia Creamy Cleansing Oil. Everyone is raving about the Re-wined gel to oil cleanser by Krave because of its texture but Naturium delivered a sort of similar product first. It is PEG, polyethylene and fragrance free. It doesn't make my eyes burn and doesn't leave that plastic-ish film on my skin. Other good products I like are the bath gels, really nice texture. I'm thinking of buying the new retinaldehyde serum because I'm coming to the conclusion that tretinoin isn't for me :( I've been using it for a couple of years and it still irritates my skin
@krisu5516
@krisu5516 Год назад
I adore that oil cleanser. It's actually frustrating because it's not super popular due to what people call a film, but that's literally the design. Not a random film but rather conditioning lipids that are cleansed off with a water-based cleanser afterward. It's honestly much more interesting than Krave's new cleanser because Naturium's appears to have been created to be solely a first cleanse in a double cleanse system ("sacrificial lipids" to ensure a gentle second cleanse, innovative oil solubilizers, unique environmentally-conscious emulsifiers) whereas many other oil and balm cleansers can actually be used standalone. Super cool and not hyped up enough. Sorry to hear about your tret experience. I've finished almost a whole tube of the retinaldehyde and LOVED it. It's incredible.

I have never used Naturium so I cannot say much about the products and I am certainly not too happy with the shady marketing. The niacinamide advice is more on the "use it like any active should" side. Niacinamide is thought as a non-active ingredient in products way too often, and going over 5% should be done with caution, but if your skin is resilient and your products give you no irritation you should definitely keep on using them.

The azaleic acid serum, azaleic emulsion, mandelic acid 12% serum, PHA 12% serum, Retinaldehyde serum, multi bright serum with Kojic acid and Vitamin K serum are some of the unique products that fill the market gaps. I wouldn't buy their cleansers and moisturizers.

I get why people were put off by Susan announcing herself as a founder/owner of the brand. I enjoyed most of the products that I've tried except the hyaluronic acid essence (it was spicy on my skin 😂😂😂). I really need to get the body washes though cause I keep hearing have great they are. I enjoyed the following products from them alpha arbutin, vitamin c, retinol, tranexamic acid, and azelaic acid serums, mixed greens cleanser, bha toner (for my back), plant ceramide cream, overnight cream (before the reformulation). I have the multi-bright tranexamic acid treatment and azelaic acid emulsion to try this winter.

I love the brand but the washes tend to irritate the creases in my arm. I have tried quite a few of their body washes. Also the Alpha Auburtin has essential oil in it so I was disappointed. Only discovered after I bought 2 bottles of it

I did not love the launch and actually sent back my order when I found out it was Susan’s brand. The whole thing was not great. But…I folded like a cheap deck chair at Target last summer and have found some gems. I particularly like the peptide products and the tranexamic and azelaic acid products.

I don’t like the fact that Susan bragged about the ‘encapsulated’ Vit C which, as I’ve studied, can be very difficult to actually formulate to make it work properly. Also, as if her brand was the only formula to ever utilize that technology.

@Walking_Spinel Год назад
@@tracywofford3384 She promoted Naturium products without disclosing that she was a co-founder. Before she revealed she was the founder, she also encouraged her followers in her Facebook group to buy Naturium's products bc they were "better than The Ordinary" i.e. bashing another brand to push her own. When asked how she heard about the brand, she lied and said that the brand reached out to her. And then when she revealed herself to be the founder and people called her out for what she did, she make an apology video that didn't sit well with everyone, and then removed it from RU-vid (I think she either made it private or unlisted) so no one can search it up
