*Yep! There was just something special about the summer of 1999. I was 15 at the time and remember all of the fun things That happened. The Wood came out, the crush I had, talking to girls on the phone, etc. It was a pivotal time in my life.*
I have even thought about that wow, and you comment it, you're the man, I hope and pray your comment makes that difference, if they only knew how much we all miss and cherished and still cherish those memories. Someone pin this mans comment please.
Yes homie and it reminds me of college days in Jozi in the late 90s not forgetting early 90s street bashes in Soweto where R&B took the whole kasi by storm, R Kelly, Keith Sweat, Aliyah, Brandy, Mary J... Life was simple and wonderful back then.
Vinny said, " ... We didn't come to brag about what we got, we came to rock." How classic is that, in the 80's, 90's and early 2000's we blew the spot. I take my hat off to all of you
As much as I would love that, most hip hop fans nowadays have a slow attention span. They only want to hear about money, hoes and gang banging. They don't have ability to understand fun loving, positive, story telling hip hop
Thats what hip hop was all about back then ❤️🥰 unity + having fun together .. celebs and artists used to support each other .. to me it was the best Era
They had hella cameos in this video!! Lol I spotted Zhané (obviously since they’re featured on the track), Pepa, Shaq, Next, Omar Epps, Peter Gunz, Kel Mitchell, Alexis Fields, the actress Angelle Brooks, Mari Morrow, Eric Williams, and I think I saw Red Grant in here too. I know they had a ball shooting this video
Kay Gee is another one that doesn’t get enough credit for not only what he can do on the 1s & 2s, but is a production machine too…. Had a run with that record label
I don't know why but seeing Kel Mitchell holding a Super Soaker water gun in a feel good ass classic 90's Naughty By Nature music video just doesn't get any more 90's for me. God I miss my era, what a time to be alive.
*This song will always remind me of when I was 15 going to visit my dad and step fam in Miramar Florida during the summer of 1999. A summer classic. The Wood came out that summer. Good times...*
This a dedication to One of my favorite radio presenters who just succumbed to covid-19 he loved this track whole heatedly he would play it every Saturday morningRIP KAYBEE☹️
Never fails to take me back to early 1999 and summer too.. Naughty by Nature are so underappreciated in hip hop but they some of the best to ever do it..i just wish Vinny got more time on the mic
The time this song came out 99. There was lots of hits, so pulling this off and topping chars all together from a rapper was a genius work. Really love the song.
"Do my Dirty for Jersey" Naughty by Nature is one of the most underrated hip-hop groups of all-time. Treacherous is also one of the most underrated MC's as well. #HELLYEAH #JerseyRepresent
Ive been saying that since i was a kid in the 90s Naughty by Nature never got near as much respect as they deserve..they're some of the first rappers I've ever heard with that chopper style of rap that the Midwest made famous but Naughty by Nature was already doing it with that Jersey flavor added..one of the best hip hop groups ever without a doubt
Katy Is a real Queen... When she sample a song from someone She give Credit to the Writer.... Love you katy.... And really love this song Jamboree......
"Naughty's about to raise our stock, and we didn't come to brag about what we got, we came to rock nigga.. we blew the spot taking the streets to pac!" Treach, Vin Rock and Kay Gee are legends.. and they did it during hip hops golden age!
I still got my official Naughty by Nature bomber tour jacket from 1993. In great condition! It even has the gold bat embroidered down the left sleeve. Can't believe my mom actually bought it for me. It was like $150 if I remember right. I'm glad I kept it... their music is still dope!😎
Word 🆙 makes me wanna 💃 💃 💃 to the attached 🎵 musical joint; Jamboree, still a goodies to choose to enjoy to benefit by in different ways.😘↗ Love peace & respect to Naughty by Nature and Zhane' for such fantastic fun beauty of theirs.
I swear... 80s and 90s hip hop really creates feelings or nostalgia.. like it's this sad feeling like I wanna really go back in time, go back to being a kid and hearing this kind of music.. it was so much fun .. hip hop isnt as fun these days with this mumble rap.. im pretty sure in 20 years there won't be feelings of nostalgia for today's music
