A Proton-M launch vehicle launched the “Nauka” Multifunctional Laboratory Module from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, on 21 July 2021, at 14:58:25 UTC (19:58:25 local time). The Nauka (Наука, “Science”) module is a research module designed to expand the functionality of the Russian segment of the International Space Station. Nauka is scheduled to autonomously dock to the ISS on 29 July 2021, at 13:25 UTC.

How in the hell do they get those RD 275's up to full thrust so fast? They act like pressure-fed engines. Just nothing, nothing, then BOOM! I'd love to tear one of those down and check out all the plumbing. All this from an engine that weighs about as much as my shirt.

I would have just assumed it was the hypergolic nature of the fuel, but now you ask the question, I wonder if there's a lot more to it

Same reason why spacex uses hypergolic fuel for the crew dragon abort motors Hypergolic fuels ignite when coming in Contact with each other So then BOOM liftoff

These are actually staged combustion engines so some of the fuel is actually being burned oxidizer-rich in a precombustor to turn the turbopumps and then this mixture coming out of the pump turbines is fed back into the combustion chamber to augment the thrust. A good portion of the fuel is already burning before the fuel even enters the chamber!
