Nautic Star Plumb Bow Hull Design 

Thanks for watching and asking a great question. The plumb bow simply allows the hull shaping and design to be taken forward so the ride and tracking is better. The vessel feels like a deep v in the water but in fact is only 15% dead rise giving it real stability whilst at rest.

The operator at the time admitted making a serious error in judgement. The boat did exactly what it needed to which was maintain buoyancy and was safely returned to the ramp where it was then put into service and is still on the water today with that gentleman purchasing two more boats from Nautic Star. I believe that no other boat builder would test boats like Nautic Star and I can only state that we presume other brands are safe but as a result of that incident we can now say Nautic Star boats are.

Please Understand that the boat not only passes stability test and survey, but my personal experience in the vessel has given me the opinion that these are in company with the best bots in Australia.

@@RexsAdventures I think these hulls will be the future ,its a shame they dont have a bigger team of builders i would love a 6.7m off them .

@@RexsAdventures I have a couple of time but they got to much work on . Im head to nz to look at innovision boats in jan. They have a nice plumb bow design boat but never seen there boats put through the sea trials like nautic.
